Anyone here have Mario kart 7? I bought it today and it's really pretty (and quite fun, I played 150cc and I came 4th, either I've gotten worse or the game has gotten harder).

After some convincing from my friend, I finally decided to get Super Mario Galaxy. It really didn't look impressive to me, but it's been fun. I already beat the game with 60 stars, but I plan to get all of them eventually. I'm not sure if I'll do the Luigi playthrough though. I still like Super Mario 64 better.

u wot

Anyway I've gotten to the Star levels on NSMBU, they're not that hard to beat but getting all the coins is a pain in the booty since there's no checkpoints

You should totally play the sequel too.
It is really good, and overall an improvement over the first game.

I disagree on the sequel being better, but you should definitely check it out! The Galaxy games number in among my favorite games of all time.

2 is more like an expansion for 1, it's basically just more levels

Which is fine, it's still a good game but it lacks a lot of the charm that made 1 so great

Hooray, I'm sequence breaking Paper Mario: Sticker Star. As soon as you unlock Whammio Mountains Shop, you can unlock 2-1. I'm now at 2-5.

Well I just beat it, very quickly.

This game's biggest issue is that it's BETTER to skip all the battle to save all your stickers, and before you put up the cheddar argument it is super easy to grind up shiny leaves for 50 coins each

I'm now at world 3, with 4 and 5 also playable. Stupid Wiggler Quest...

Okay now that bit about Super Mario 64 HAS to be nostalgia talking, because the camera in that game was so bad it was not even funny.

It was still great (especially considering the leap from 2D to 3D), but Galaxy is pretty much the perfect 3D Mario title.

Galaxy 1 was really incredibly good in terms of what a Mario game should strive for in atmosphere.
Galaxy 2 was what EVERY GAME should strive for in level design.

If Galaxy 1 had Galaxy 2's levels, the result would unequivocally be the best game to have ever existed, bar none.

separate however they're both pretty good but lacking in areas
