Yeah, the weaknesses also all need to be used at the right time for maximum effectiveness.

Though, it is strange that the scissors only work if he's beginning to weaken and spin his individual goombas around. The fan makes sense because they're falling apart, but he's ALWAYS a thin piece of paper.

but I guess that avoids making an auto-win.

Ahahahaha oh my god, the Third Boss battle with Gooper Blooper is so freakin' fun. I love how it interacts with the background music and does a bunch of crazy sword sounds and--ahhhhhh.

Sticker Star is a weird and pretty average game so far, but daisies if it doesn't have one stellar soundtrack.

So should I buy it? Is it really worth it, considering they took out the whole FP system and you can run out of attacks? I really enjoyed Paper Mario TTYD but is it similar at all?

It's not as "dark" as TTYD, so don't expect the plot to be anything major, but the gameplay is solid (if a bit easy most of the time), there's plenty of choices in attacks, the humor is all there, and the game is quite enjoyable.

So I'm a little late to the party, but I really love this game. If you're hinging on buying this game because it's not like the other Paper Marios than cut that out and just buy the daisies thing already because it's great.

Also somebody earlier said that you can't manually arrange stickers, but you totally can, and in fact sometimes you can fit an extra megaflash sticker that autosorting doesn't make a big enough space for.

I'm thinking of a Paper mario game, but I'm not sure which one.

All i can remember is that you owe some guy because you stepped on his contact.

You're thinking of The Thousand Year Door.

Finished Sticker Star.

Bowser was an asshole. I had to fight him twice because I ran out of non jump stickers when I got him down to 20 HP, and the random block stickers you get kept giving me jumps. The ending was really well done, but the game still felt a bit hollow.

So, if anyone else felt the game's plot was pretty lackluster, it seems Miyamoto was at it again.

It kinda baffles me that he usually doesn't take fan opinion into consideration when making his games (which is often a pretty good thing), but insists that the Club Nintendo input is the be-all of important information. While I'm sure most people didn't mention the story because story was a given in the Paper Mario series, that didn't mean the story isn't important to fans. Hell, look at all of the Count Bleck, Dimentio, and Partner appeal people had. I mean, Bowser doesn't even talk in Sticker Star (and Bowser Jr. didn't shut up the two inconsequential times he showed up).

So if you have the game, and you're upset over what's been done to Sticker Star, go fill out your Club Nintendo surveys and let them know how you feel about the changes.

I'm not at all upset with Sticker Star. It was a unique new take on the series. A slightly more involved plot would have been nice, but not if it was just to make sure people wouldn't complain about it.
