I recently discovered my own proficiency with the SAW. I feel like Rambo...

Also, with that deal on Halo waypoint, is that just they're giving codes away and shit? I feel like it would be better if people just unlocked the armors themselves. You feel more connection to your character when you have to kill half a continent worth of people a certain way just to unlock it.

they did that with Reach and CE Anniversary. Activating a terminal in CE Anniversary would cause a series of glyphs to flash at the end. You'd access the secret menu in Waypoint put the glyphs in the right order and unlock a buttload of credits in Reach. I think it's a neat way of linking up the games.

Can anyone tell me why during CTF in Ragnarok, only me and my roommate ever actually go for the flag? Seriously, I don't know what the rest of the team is doing, but it's definitely not flag defense or offense.

Have peole playing halo ever actually gone for the objectives?

I don't know why anyone chooses those gametypes because they almost always treat them like Slayer.

I avoid sticky situations regarding things like "objectives" by sticking to Slayer.

Yeah, I usually stick to BTB, Flood, and now I'm getting into Dominion.

In CTF people do stick to capping the flag, and I've seen an amazing amount of unspoken teamwork when it comes to that. Such as driving up with a 'Hog and not having to say a word over the mic for our guy with the flag to hop in. King of the Hill is basically Slayer with the objective of everyone grouping together in one moving spot for a huge carnage-fest, which I love.

I know exactly what you mean, except it's only always on the OTHER team!

I'm serious. When Ragnarok loads as a map for CTF, I immediately go for the flag, my roommate stays back as flag defense, and everyone else goes and does fuck all. It's annoying as shit. The only time I've seen any shred of teamwork on the map is when I physically (somehow) got the flag out of their base, and ran into a member of my own team. So they'll stand back and plick at people shooting at me, but will refuse to go for the flag. Freaky thing is it's only Ragnarok. On smaller maps, there's GREAT teamwork. It's almost like there's an archetype of people who strictly vote for Ragnarok.

Seriously, I understand varying up your multiplayer experience because the daily challenge just so happens to be related to a different game type, but if you're going to do that, at least go along with the game type! daisies...

I'll probably play later with my brother. If you see OdorousOrphan running around being terrible you will have caught a rare glimpse of my brilliance
