Well at least seeing Viewtiful Joe will give me an idea as to what The Wonderful 101 might be like when it comes out.

Arin seems to know and love the game, we'll just have to wait and see if Jon is really bad at it and then hates it.

No don't start on Adult mode this game is hard and you haven't even touched it before.
No you can't skip the story the story is the best it's better then everything fuck Shakespeare.
No you have to dodge the punches and kick don't just punch and kick you'll get a bad V-Score.

I dunno, It's an alright play through, but I don't see why you would do an LP of a game you have little personal experience with anyway. You could just play the game on you're own if that were the case. Particularly with a game like Veiwtiful Joe: it's really technical and you need to have prior experience with it to be fair to your audience and properly show the game off.

Also I can't imagine anybody got through Hotel Rhino on their first try.

I kinda wish the grumps would just tell people to stop sending in games for them to play.

It's a bit better when they play the games they stumble upon or have or remember.

Like when Jon found Goof Troop and whoops, that's like the best game they've played.

They seem like they have so many games to play already. At the very least I wish they would just tell people to stop sending games so they could work on clearing what is probably a huge backlog of 'to-do' games.

I mused about sending them Bugdom a few times in the past, but I didn't have the first clue where my old copy went (also I dunno if they play PC games).

Chip and Snark are at it again in Peace Walker after a week-long breather. Looks like they're entering the end-game regarding story missions, while I think they have plenty more to go in their Monster Hunting quests. I've never gotten those quests in Peace Walker (lazy, co-op is dead so no use going for it) but I do know about Gear Rex, and that fight looks like it's gonna NEED 4 players.

I actually like Voidburger and SnarkCookie and the way that both of them play off of Chip for some great commentary.

OK, so I thought the Game Grumps playing Castlevania would be more entertaining, but as soon as Jon loses ONE LIFE, he suicides and continues to get all his lives back. WHY

Probably the same reason he did it in Sunset Riders.

ChipCheezum and SnarkCookie are almost done with the main story of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker; they have one last "Find Zadornov" mission to go and then the real actual final boss. They're also getting through the Monster Hunter missions at a decent pace, too. I wonder how hard their final boss will be? All of Chip's grinding for the Strangelove Tapes plus the co-op difficulty scaling could mean a tough battle.

Man, Matt and Pat really don't grasp the concept of a Joke Boss/Dungeon.

Eh, at least they got the "Recurring JRPG Boss squad" thing right. Their recent Power Stone 2 playthrough was pretty good IMO.

Also: Oh boy, The Dark Id's Final Fantasy X Let's Play is now in the EA- er, I mean the SA Archives. Looks like I'm going to have to wait a year or two before I can read it in its entiretey on the LP Archive.

Matt and Pat's Walking Dead playthrough has been pretty great so far, and Eternal Darkness was great too.

I like when they demonstrate that they understand storytelling/video game techniques and clichés well enough to have a good discussion of them, and then their immediate next line is to riff on whatever stupid thing has happened in-game while they were talking.
