Do you think one day there'll be an AZ server? Or we'll just need to like, use other servers and maybe meet up on there?

You can pester Dimm about it. He usually fixes some up, but I don't know if he still has the same one up or not.

I started a new world after several months of not playing. I spawned on a good coastline with plenty of trees and an exposed mountainside to dig into. I have the difficulty set to peaceful and will keep it peaceful until I have a good fort to live in.

I've gotten a bit bored with Minecraft lately, can't wait for the Halloween Update though :D . I think I may start an entirely new world when it comes out.

I terraformed a lake that leads out into the ocean from a miniature stream. and then I made a bridge over the lake. The bridge goes from my house the the mine I have. The bridge is also raised so I can take my boat under it. I essentially created a personal harbor for myself.

I knew i shouldn't have gone looking for a better spot. so much for the giant beacon of torches, didn't help one bit.

Also, can enemies spawn within your own walls, or am I just hearing random growls from my cavern for no particular reason?

Monsters can spawn anywhere were there is little light, but maybe the noises you hear are things like pigs or whatever as they spawn in the light (however that being said I've never had one spawn in my house) but like they can spawn on dirt I think.

Friendly mobs only spawn on grass blocks that have light, so if there's grass in your home they're gonna spawn there eventually.

On a more tragic note this also means that they are inclined to spawn on forest fires during the night.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up. And, while animals have appeared in my house, I must make it a point that a horrible death growl rattling from the innermost depths of an unlit tunnel could be considered a friendly mob. I can't sleep anymore after playing this game.

I had a single tree that was on fire.

Every day I would harvest the bacon and hide it would provide me.

Actually sounds like a good idea.

Also, Creepers outside my house are making zombie noises. :psyduck:
