Just beat Hush on my first try with 1 HP left. That was one though son of a bitch.

Only done 5 runs so far but I already feel like I got my cheddar's worth, even though Edmund added some Grade A bullshit.

I'm having a bunch of fun too. The new challenges are bullshit tho, at least the few I tried.

Can someone explain Greed mode to me? Is it just basically an arena every floor?

Instead of having rooms you just fight all the enemies in quick succession. You get cheddar to buy upgrades in addition to some free ones. It's not that easy actually, took me some tries to beat it with Azazel to unlock the new char.

There's an extremely annoying bug in the Guardian challenge. Your punching bag won't walk over regular spikes, but can walk over the spikes that go up and down. If he stands on them and they come up, you're dead. Regardless how many hearts you have left. Same with red poop coming back while he stands on the remains.

Tyrone (one of the developers) just kinda came into Northernlion's stream and was like "Yo, Ryan. Here's like a dozen Afterbirth Steam codes for you to give away."

New update today unlocked the rest of the content and the salt on reddit is enough to spice up everyone's soup for the next decade.
People are talking like Edmund and Tyrone took a shit in their cereal.

it is pretty shitty for them to have done it in the way they did.

to take a post i made on reddit:

why, pray tell, did he include all this fake ARG shit and give us cryptic hints that seem to go along with it instead of going 'hey, we just needed more time to work, but the number 109 still has some out of game significance ;)'
You A: Quell the hype (and thus the subsequent salt) and B: keep 109 as your hint to the release of the content patch.
At least don't fucking lie to us about how much content there will be at release.

Was him putting some content behind a gate to work on it bad? Not inherently. Was the way he handled it bad? Yes. Absolutely yes.

Eh, you're still getting what you paid for, just a few days later. People are overreacting on a massive scale here. If you want to unlock every single thing in the game within the first week of release that's a sign to slow things down as edmund said to the 109. Chill out, the game isn't going anywhere, you'll have plenty of time to get all that new stuff.

The point is that he was being cryptic for no reason and as of now still hasn't given a reason as to why the content was locked and not finished in the first place, blaming it on "stuff"

If it wasn't finished they could've just delayed the DLC for a few days, not like that many people would actually care

It really seems like he did this to deliberately spite the community for skipping the ARG he made up for The Lost

I don't really see how that "spites" anyone. You got the game. You get all the stuff it just took longer to put in game. What exactly are people angry over?

The fact that at no point did anyone say "Some things are delayed, wait a week, sorry", obviously

Why care? We would have had to wait either way.

Because it would be nice to know why there was a specific number of items advertised that didn't exist in the initial release?

Not even considering the fact that the whole time he could've been explaining the situation, Ed was instead posting cryptic shit that people thought was the reason they couldn't find the items and then playing the victim suggesting that people were in the wrong for making such an assumption?

Or that the reason that some items were not finished still hasn't been mentioned at all, instead handwaving with bodaciously saying "stuff"?
