I'm pretty terrible at Halo, but my older brother and our cousin are part of the 6% of people who beat Halo on Legendary.

I'm doing each mission one week at a time so I can do both weekly challenges and get beau coup exp

Even if it does take like 2 hours

I can't even be arsed to play the campaign. Shooting at AI aliens isn't as much fun as interacting with characters controlled by other people. It also makes it where when I suck at it, it's probably more because that guy on the other end of the screen is better than me than the computer having a fuck-diculous difficulty curve. Besides, I'm too in love with the idea that it's my own customized character that I'm playing as. I feel more in control.

i feel like i'm the only one who doesn't like the Mantis. When i heard of a giant mecha in halo i was puuuumped. But it's so slow. Add some thrusters, stick a beam saber on it. Gundam has spoiled me.

The campaign mission involving the mantis kicked booty but I hate it in war games because if someone else on your team doesn't get it tey will try in earnest to destroy you

Also fuck Ragnarok. I hated Valhalla and adding it as a big team map does not make it any more than a sniper's paradise.

What, the original game? I've soloed most of the Halo games on legendary.

Er, maybe LASO? It's definitely not true that only 6% of halo players beat it on legendary.
Anyway today I got a rampage with the Mantis. When will people learn that running in front of it is a bad idea?

People seem to forget that the Mantis has a melee attack

Sidenote: I once punched a mantis to death.

I'm on Ragnarok, and for shits I decide to roll over to the enemy base area. Two guys see me go in, so I go cammo and hide right in the entrance. The first guy walks in and immediately turns his back to me. I hold the melee button and I JUMP ON HIS BACK LIKE A FREAKEN JOCKEY OUT OF L4D2! I'd have gotten the other guy to were I not so awestruck that such a thing were even possible for an assassination immediately afterwards!!

Ragnarock is so much fun.
I love getting on a mongoose and going into the man-cannon and actually SPLATTERING someone.
One time when I did that, I got off the mongoose before It hit the guy, so it looked like I kicked it at him like a cool action hero.

Awww yeah.

My favorite map so far is Abandon. I always seem to get a spree on that one.

Also the coolest thing that happened to me was my brother and I were playing big team and he threw a grenade at a warthog, causing it to fly into an enemy and getting my brother a splatter.

BTW guys, if you wanna unlock some XP, armor, and emblems, you gotta put some codes into Halo Waypoint which are being solved via the Halo 4 ARG

This game pisses me off so bad sometimes but I can't stop torturing myself.

On the one hand, I've spent more time looking at matchmaking screens than I have playing the actual game, and sometimes it really seems like my bullets just aren't doing any fucking damage. On the other hand, I go god-tier every time I pick up a SAW.
