I'm pretty sure they don't.
They stay destroyed.

Yep. They stay destroyed. So you can either destroy all the walls, die, then finish him off or just only destroy the necessary walls and do it in one go

Either get some daisies skills Tyler, or cheat the system.

Well, I'll give it another go sometime, I really wanna play all the way though this game~

Also, out of interest, how you you say Bubble Lead? Is it lead, like 'this is a dog lead' or lead like 'this pipe is made out of lead'? I'm assuming it's the former, but I don't know for sure.

I think it's the latter, actually. Sort of like a lead balloon? I don't normal bubbles would move like that.

There has been some debate over the weapon's real name. Some say it is Bubble Lead (pronounced led, as in a lead pencil), signifying that the bubble is made of heavy lead. Others say it is Bubble Lead (pronounced leed, as in leading a horse to water), signifying that the bubble can lead Mega Man since it travels along in front of him, and in fact can be used to find the hidden floors in one of the Wily Levels at the end of MM2. The Japanese name of the weapon is pronounced in this latter way.

But I think that it's the pronounced like the lead pencil.

I noticed, that it might be confusing, so I quickfire edited it.

Well, I'm assuming the bubbles are artifical, so the le(a)d version makes sense in that way. I just always read it as bubble le(e)ad, like how I used to automatically read Bass (base) as Bass (the fish) before correcting myself.

Bubble Lead(ing the way) - Implies the bubble goes out in front of you (which it does)
Bubble Lead(metal) - Implies that it is used as a weapon and doesn't float to the surface, like air bubbles will.

In that example, the metal lead theory makes more sense.

well seeing as the bubbles are grey, heavy, do damage to things, exist outside water, do damage to metal robots, and generally just go forward like every other weapon

yeah i would assume it's made of actual lead, because as much as lead(ing the way) sounds really kinda like a neat way to put it, it makes no sense at all as the actual pronunciation. The whole thing might be a "haha get it because it travels in front of you it's a pun see," but i really doubt it's pronounced leed.

I always thought it was lead like "lead the way" because their only use in the game outside of boss battles is to check to see fake panels in Wily's castle.

yeah except most megaman 2 weapons were like that, completely useless outside one area of expertise

the only exceptions are metal blade and quick boomerang

True nuff. I think capcom realized that though. Maybe the name was a clue as to how to use it? Iunno.

yeah, like I said I don't really doubt VERY much that it wasn't a pun, but it's still most likely pronounced "led"
