Yeah, you're fucked when it comes to cheating on an XBox. All you can do is adjust the difficulty.

Also I like shooting things with arrows. I go for a balance between blades and arrows though just because I like being able to carry lots of shit and defend myself in close quarters.

Honestly, IMO, the best fighting method is fists.

Not because Manhuge does it but think about it - You don't have to carry a usually obscenely heavy weapon, it'll never break, you'll never be disarmed and you can't run out of arrows.

I like swords. Slash slash.

I think the only negative is blocking, until you can block with your fists as effectively as you could with a shield.

If you wanted to train your endurance really fast though, having more stuff that you can break would probably help though, lol.

No, the shield doesn't appear unless you equip a one handed weapon

Except unarmed fighting isn't really intended to be a full combat style, it's just supposed to be there for when you get disarmed for some reason.

That's sort of why it generally sucks so badly.

This is true. Unarmed fighting has only a few real benefits - namely that you don't have to worry about repairing your fists and that you're lowering your opponent's Fatigue at the same time.

The maximum damage possible with Hand-to-Hand is 11 or so, which is really low. Most weapons bypass that at the silver level. Also you can't enchant or poison your fists. In my opinion, the benefits of going unarmed don't really outweigh the downsides.

the attack speed is just as fast as daggers though, but still, not really worth it.

Man, enchanted fists would be fucking awesome...

I joined just so say that I love oblivion and I've been reading this entire thread like 3 times and it never stops to amuse me.

As for unarmed fighting thers a mod for that!

There is also a mod for the assassins creed armor, where you get the gloves which enhance hand to hand alot and makes it good. You also use the retractable dagger and it counts as hand to hand!

All I do is to imba the weapon and armor with sigil stones ;/

But It's seriously hard to get the black version, [spoiler]There are like 20 "hassassins" like guarding it!!! sick! also to get the white original is very challenging too, he is like always chameleon where he is, not telling where though[/spoiler]

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a mod that let you do that or something similar.
