I liked 3 better because you can PLAY the Sasuke retrieval arc. The best Part 1 arc. They rushed it in #4

Here's another top 5.

5) ANY BIOWARE GAME
4) ANY VALVE GAME
3) ANY NINTENDO GAME
2) ANY CAPCOM GAME
1) ANYTHING BY SUDA51

As usual, it's not a comprehensive list.

1.) Any Professor Layton game: He could be the Riddler's best friend or mortal enemy, maybe both.

2.) Super Smash Bros. Melee: Nuff said.

3.) Harvest Moon Magical Melody: Farming, fishing, wack-a-mole.. Ah, memories..

4.) Chibi Robo: Tiny robot who cleans, cooks, defeats aliens, saves toys, and solves marriage problems, Why can't he be real?!

5.) Mario Kart Double Dash/Wii: I've only played Double Dash at friends houses, but I love it SO MUCH. Wii version is wonderful, because you don't have to be able to reach the pedals to drive.

Well come on, you just posted every list in this topic.

Just quickly thrown together:

1. Fallout 2
2. Baldur's Gate II (And the rest of the series, really; but this is the represenitive)
3. Fallout
4. Vampires: Bloodlines
5. Planescape: Torment

With honorable mentions to Double Dragon and SSBM.

*old geezer games* :colbert:

Let's see...

5. Ape Escape.

Huge nostalgia goggles on this one, but well deserved ones. I played the shit out of this on the original Playstation as a kid, and even now I still love it, though its age is showing. I really love though how it integrated the two analog sticks into the gameplay so much - kind of commonplace now, but I found that cool back in the day.

Right now though it's suffering from the modern video games trend of being milked dry. Ape Escape 2 was decent, but everything afterwards looked like garbage. Plus, sequels and remakes on the PSP? HELL NAW.

4. Re-Volt

Another kind of obscure game, which nevertheless also had the shit played out of it. Really kind of generic racer, but it was one of the few PS1 games I owned. It was based around RC car racing, and had you driving around a number of different locales like a cruise ship or a museum. All of these stages had a number of different varieties to them as well, like a reverse stage or one with different pathways. Definitely worth a look.

Plus powerups are way better than Mario imo. Also ADEON ALL DAY EVERY DAY

3. Mario Kart: Double Dash

Yeah, once again, more nostalgia goggles. Still, I have a lot of great memories with this game. Though admittedly back then I kind of played flowchart Mario Kart.

DIDDY KONG (GIANT BANANA SPAM)
PARATROOPA (TRIPLE RED SHELL SPAM)
BARREL TRAIN (WUT)
FINAL DESTINATION

2. Pokemon Gold

Now we're getting to the good stuff. I can remember my sister, my cousins, and I spending hours just playing this game on our original Gameboys. Straight up good times, and I'm still quite a Poke-nerd today. :> Some might say that Red/Blue are better, but I think this one corrected a lot of the mistakes the first gen made, namely no Move Deleter, the prevalence of Psychic types, and the general BS of the items system. Plus, Chinchou is the best mon, if you hadn't guessed by my avatar.

1. Team Fortress 2

This one hardly requires explanation, and I'm sure many of you can agree. Pure brilliance on the part of Valve, may they continue to amaze us.
