Awful, just like very handheld game in existence.

Classy.

A person whose sig contains cruelty towards animals has no right to have any opinions, at all. If I were a mod you would have been banned 6000 times before you could even say "buh".

You are scum

Animal cruelty more like having fun with a cat, some socks and a slippery table.

He isn't keeping it confined to a space no more than 1 square metre, or making it live amongst it's own feces.

It's a practical joke, nothing more, really.

But it's not animal cruelty at all. Its about the equivalent of putting a person on a lake of thick ice.

OoT had a Day/Night Cycle.

Only in Majora's Mask, the Days and Nights might have been slightly extended, to allow for quests. Also, there were only three nights and days, and that's plot.

The masks, I may give to you. But the foundations of the gameplay didn't change, just what the character model looked like, and what weapons he used. And in the case of Deku's Leaf, Zora's Swim and Goron's Roll, how he can get around.

You can't compare OoT's and MM's night/day cycles, OoT had a static day and night state whereas in MM most of the characters had elaborate daily schedules, a different one for every day. Being at the right place at the right time was an essential feature of MM's quests (especially in the long Kafei and Anju quest), you can't tell me that's plot and not gameplay. Furthermore, all the changes you made to the world were permanent in OoT whereas in MM the world would be reset each time you traveled back in time.

But the biggest difference for me is MM's dark, even psychedelic atmosphere.

Yeah, I can concede that point.

A lot of the Boss Fights are creepy. The Goat. The Tree Man. THAT FUCKING FISH. Majora. :X

And their weight and the way they attacked. And their sense of movement. And the manner in which they interacted with people. So really, most of it.

And the three day mechainic's ffect on the world, how this changes you made could actively unfold and be unone, was far more than just plot.

And plot is a bloody vital part of what makes a game great, man. So saying its the "only difference" is like saying the only difference bewteen the Italians and the Germans was the Germans ideas of genocide.

I'm not too proud of that analogy, but it still works. Plot is still a crucial aspect of a game, and dismissing it as such a triviality both both shows a willfull ignorance and displays one of the priimary reasons why so much of gamings plots are drivel.

I really like the whole Zelda thing, but I've only been able to play Wind Waker*, Ocarina of Time*, Majora's Mask, Link to the Past, Minnish Cap*, Twilight Princess*, and Four Swords. My faves have a * mark in front of it.
