I managed to scrounge up enough coins for the games I wanted by registering my granny's Wii. But now I'm just 120 coins short of Platinum. I'm so close it's driving me nuts. I wish I could reach it, but sadly, that doesn't seem like it's going to be possible. At this point, I think I've exhausted every possible source of free coins.

Well, now I'm glad that I didn't go out of my way to get more coins and qualify for Platinum. All of the Platinum rewards are stuff that I either already have or am not interested in. Wound up getting Zelda Oracle of Seasons, which was a Gold reward.

This feels like the best place to put this, but Scott Cawthon's "The Desolate Hope" is free on steam now. From what I hear, it's really good.

I don't have anything to give right now, but if anyone has an extra key for Risk of Rain from the last humble bundle that they wouldn't mind giving me, it'd be much appreciated. Me and my friends want to play it, but one of them doesn't own it so he's being left out.

There is no single player in the demo. It's mostly local co-op but there are times when servers for online multiplayer will open up: Friday from 8PM-1AM Eastern Time, Saturday in the same time frame, and Sunday from 10AM-3PM.
