They are koopalings who were dropped on their heads as kids and due to their warped perspectives, were promoted.

Bowser adopted Bowser JR.

Really? NSMB2 has only 6 levels? Atleast tell me what the themes for them are!

It has 9 worlds. 3 of them are "secret" and aren't numbered. They branch off like the original NSMB game.

How do you unlock the coin world?

Also, I think there is a grassland world, a snow world, a desert world, and a lava world.

I bought Mario Galaxy 2 last wednesday. Been playing it on and off, around 90 stars now. Good game.

I got Paper Mario: Sticker Star by preordering it on the 6th for my birthday; went up and got it today and it's pretty fun, if a little different from the Paper Mario formula. They've broke the fourth wall completely regarding the "paper" part of the title, as everyone refers to themselves as paper and other such things. Stickers are the main attack source of the game, and they also encompass items like the Mushroom and POW block. There are "shiny" stickers that deal increased damage or effect as well, and "things" that you can get (which are three dimensional instead of paper, also referenced in the game) that you can throw at a board in-town to turn them into powerful stickers.

I haven't gotten too far, but it's fun so far, and you'll be collecting shit tons of coins along the way if you action time your attacks through enemy death (multijumping, for instance), so don't be shy about buying shit from the shops. Sadly, it's not RPG any more (from what I can tell), but it does go back to the turn-based battle style with simplified action commands (all action presses are done with A, rather than joystick flicking for the hammer and whatnot). But again, I haven't gotten too far in the game, so there may be some surprising shit going on later.

I've seen some gameplay of it, and I'm skeptical about it. There are no partners, no gaining levels from defeating, you can't select which enemy you want to attack, every single one of your attacks is a one-use sticker, so you have to collect things like jumps and hammers. So if you run out of stickers, you can't attack at all.

As well from what I've seen, you can't actually sort your stickers, so you have to flip through the book to find one specific sticker to attack with.

I just don't understand why Intelligent Systems would change things up like that when they had such a good formula. I mean, Super Paper Mario changed things up for sure, but they didn't remove simple things like leveling....

Actually, you can sort your stickers out, you can't move them around manually but there's auto-sorting that places all stickers of a similar type (jump, hammer, item, etc.) next to each other.

But yeah, it's a bit disappointing how they shunted the old Paper Mario style in favor of this newer version. Actual screen transitions and world movement was replaced with an overworld map style. Partners are completely gone as well, and the RPG elements are out the window. The only real things that it retains so far are the similar storyline, turn-based battles, and similar world design (within the levels themselves)

I also saw some of the quirky humor that Paper Mario is known for, so that's great. However, that doesn't make up for removing so many of the concepts made the previous iterations of the series so great.

My biggest problem is the removal of leveling. It just makes battling completely pointless, and every time I get caught by an enemy I just curse because I have to waste a few seconds of my PRECIOUS TIME.

My two complaints about Sticker Star. The leveling is gone, and I have to conserve "ammo" Why do I need a sticker to fucking jump?
