One of the only good LPers is Frankomatic.

You know, Two Best Friends are going to do a play through of Revengence and I kinda wonder how that's going to work. Like, I've played the Demo a bit and it isn't the easiest game, So I kinda wonder how they're going to keep it interesting. I mean, the Streetwise playthrough had some points where they were stuck on certain segments for whole episodes, like with The Stiff (twice), and It kinda dragged a bit.

I didn't mind that much, and it hyped me up all the more when they finally beat him. Also it wasn't as bad (or hilarious) as when they got stuck in Eternal Darkness. I think as long as they use editing and keep having interesting things to talk about, it should be fine.

One thing I enjoy about their Chrono Trigger LP: during the more tedious "run through the dungeon/area and get in mandatory battles" segments, they decide to talk about other stuff, like the animated Conan series. Talking about different stuff during that is fine with me, as it breaks up the monotony of fighting the same enemies over and over with conversation about something else.

So this doesn't really fall under "Favorite," but since that Retsupurae of DPSgamming I looked at the guy a little bit and well…
The only real word for him is "Wow." I really, really hope that he just fucks up games on purpose as some sorta metajoke and isn't actually this shit at absolutely everything while also being one of the most insufferable people ever. I really want to believe this man is a caricature of the bad gamer on purpose, and not just a magnificent fuck-up.

Before I even watched the GG Naughty Bear episode I knew it was going to be bad.
I am a psychic.

"Hey Jon let's ignore bodaciously every prompt the game is giving us and then complain that the game isn't telling us what to do. Games nowadays give players too much guidance and we can only combat this by being as FUCKING DENSE AS POSSIBLE"

Oh my god Jon and his ignoring tutorials.
When he was bitching about Dark Souls not being intuitive or something because it told him how to roll and parry and shit.

I don't know what that is but it sounds painful.

Jon and Arin just need to stick to games they enjoy, instead of playing bad games just so they can get rustled off.

Jon? Arin's the fucking worst at this shit.

Especially since he skips all of the prompts because he doesn't want to be hand held through the game, and then bitches that the game's to complicated to understand through trial and error and BLAMES THE GAME BECAUSE OF IT.

And half the time the explanations are fucking simple, like Mario Party minigames.

BUT NOPE, LET'S IGNORE IT AND GET MAD AT THE GAME BECAUSE OF THE WAY WE'RE PLAYING IT.

It sometimes seriously makes me wonder how they can play video games at all. I'm sure they have at least a bit more focus when they're going through it solo, but if these are legit problems they have with games, just... goddamn.

One of the more dire examples of both GG's idiocy is that they never checked up on how the copy system in Milky Way Wishes on Kirby Super Star worked and found out about it on accident. And Jon said (if I recall correctly) that it was his favorite game in Kirby Super Star. Jon apparently has a million favorite games though.

Meanwhile, Michael "Rage Quit" Jones (LtMkilla on YouTube) managed to beat Banjo Kazooie, which he states to be one of his favorite games of all time, while being as obnoxious as the Game Grumps (maybe even more so) and yet more informative and better at the game than them.

Any time Jon has a favorite game, replaying it tends to make him hate it or not know what the fuck to do.

Like Donkey Kong Country 2.

I never actually watched all their videos for Yoshi's Island. Did Jon actually not know how to advance in that game, or did they just say "screw this" and go off to play something else? Cause I sure as hell know that, given their track record, they never beat it.

They abandoned it, but I have no idea why. That one in particular ticks me off because IT'S SUCH A GOOD GAYM GAIS DOOD I LUV DIS GAYM

I'm not denying that it's a stellar game, but if it's so great to you guys, why give it up so quickly? They didn't even make it halfway through.
