AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I got a PotG intro for Lucio, a couple different skins I like for a bunch of my characters (Green Torb, red Zarya, the model with the blue jay for Bastion) including a legendary for pharah, as well as sprays and voice lines and a couple emotes I liked as well. I dropped $20 on a bunch of loot chests since I saved that $20 not buying the origins edition, and had enough credits drop to deck out Junkrat just the way I want him. Jailbreak skin, juggling emote, 'it'll freeze that way' end-of-round pose, and mine-jumping PotG intro. I then dropped another $10 because I have poor impulse control and thanks to dropping about 1000-some credits on that bunch of crates, ended up being able to unlock a PotG for Torbjorn/Bastion, just casually finding one I like for Symmetra and the 'The Shadow' looking legendary skin for McCree. Not gonna let myself buy any more crates until it starts taking a full day of play to earn a single loot box, and only if there's a specific thing I'm trying to unlock.

Got my first aimbot accusation today. Guess it's a good thing I lost pretty much all my quake skills, my aim is shit in comparison lol. Tracking aim still seems pretty good tho, but my twitch aim is pretty shit. Maybe need to figure out my mouse setting better.

I was browsing wikis and apparently the Swedish Racist's hammer deals the same damage as Reinhardt's. Not that I plan on using it any any combat situation whatsoever but still it's still pretty interesting.

the game finally realized I've played about 6 hours straight of roadhog and gave me a legendary mako skin for him.

Played a handful of matches as Zarya today. Her weapon and its alt fire are tough to get a handle on, but she can really lock down a point.

As well, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing one of the two Widowmakers on your team realizing "Oh hey, I'm not contributing at all!" and then changing to another character. In the same game I earned POTG with a double kill as Zenyatta while helping out a Winston and we stopped them before they could even get to the first point with their cart. That was a really bizarre match.

The salt is real, some idiot D.va was complaining to me and called me a "Tumblrite". It's fun when people make up words just to insult you.

Damnit, shadowplay, why won't you record. ;^; I got an awesome PotG as Junkrat on the second point of Volskaya. Took the floating pads in from behind, dropped three grenades into the enemy team, killed two of them with a followup concussion mine, earned enough for my ultimate and quick-riptired the last three immediately afterwards. The clip then ends with me doing the juggling taunt as I cap the point for victory.

I went like "Uh hi, our team did well, your team sucked. The game hasn't been out for a month so why are you salty?" He then called me that.

Junkrat's my guy. Just got another sweet POTG on Lijang Tower; heard the team storming up the outside ramp, dropped a trap, grenaded the trapped Soldier 76 who like usual sprints the fuck ahead of everyone else, got Rip Tire, used it, blew up the entire remaining team either directly or by sending them flying off the map.

Everyone was like "whelp, that's the PotG right there, GG guys."

Played a KoTH game as Winston and wrecked shop after coming to the realization that using the shockwave from landing on people after using the jump-jets to disrupt and disorient them is the primary tactic. It just clicked that you're supposed to play him like a rampaging gorilla at almost all times rather than just during Primal Rage mode.

Also, I love the latest Weekly Brawl. We won a match of Payload despite the fact that the other team seemed to almost always have a Mei freezing people and being an overall nuisance. At one point they had two of them; that's the stuff of nightmares.

I'd have been enjoying the random hero mode more if everyone hadn't git gud'ed so much. I am a mediocre player in general with most heroes; about all I can do with a solid third of the roster is try to stay focused on the objectives and not take out my teammates with me, so I keep getting rolled 80% of the time.

(And the game is in desperate need of a built-in ability to at least save, if not export, highlights/PotG clips; c'mon Blizz, like half of your other games have it)

I actually like Winston a lot, even though people say he's underpowered. You just gotta jump in, zap some people, jump out to a health pack, rinse and repeat until you get your ult and then you pretty much do the same thing, except this time people get flung everywhere. Really you just gotta be okay with not always getting kills, because every moment you're being a nuisance to their backline is a moment that the other team isn't pushing the objective. I like him a lot on defense just for the disruption factor.

My problem with him is that he's not really tanky enough to be doing that. If you use your jump to get in you get focused down pretty quick and you can't get out again. You have to wait for the right opportunity when their team is distracted or split up a bit, which doesn't happen often against good players.

I just don't like Winston's ult. It's hard to tell where anyone is at after you've flung them. I think the view should switch to 3rd-person during it, like with Reinhardt's charge.
