Don't feel comfortable? It's not like she's nearly naked, hell that outfit is pretty tame.

Harada is just taking the piss at idiots spamming him on Twitter. No way he'll remove her from the European version. Do you also believe Kamiya when he tells people that they should ask their mom about Bayonetta?

That being said her outfit is horrible and she needs fashion tips ASAP.

Hatred was removed from Steam Greenlight for what seems to be no other reason than its controversial content. This doesn't sit right with me. If the game got through Greenlight and people could then buy it and it turned out to be a buggy, broken mess, then it's removal would make sense. But right now, people haven't even gotten their hands on it; they should be able to choose if they want to buy it rather than Valve deciding that that option shouldn't exist.

It's a game about innocent people being massacred by a sadistic nutjob with a weapon fetish. It's Every School Shooting Ever But On A Larger Scale: The Game. It was made because one asshole game dev team hates political correctness in videogames so much that they took it completely overboard and made the exact opposite of a politically correct game. The company liked an anti-Islamic page on Facebook just for the publicity.

The game shouldn't have existed in the first place. Putting it on Steam just gets Gaben more hatemail.

I think Burnt is saying that it since its on Greenlight, it should be the consumers' job to reject such a game, not the honchos at Steam.

I don't mind seeing it rejected either way, but I can see how one might get worried about the idea of Steam trying to "censor" the games going through Greenlight. Personally, though, I think Steam still has the discretion to decide what games show up there, especially since there are other ways to publish/promote a game than just Greenlight. Steam might be huge, but if they really wanted to develop and publish it, and people wanted to play it, there are other ways of getting it out there. Greenlight is just one option, and if you want the publicity/community interaction/whatever else that Steam brings, you're going to have to play by their (normally relatively lenient) rules.

It's obvious that Valve would only remove a games on Greenlight under drastic circumstances, you can tell just by wading through the less popular games.

That Valve doesn't actually give a shit about the quality of games on Greenlight is obvious (and neither should they really), the question is whether they removed the game under pressure of the public outcry or because of some undefined standard of political correctness. Neither are particularly enticing prospects, whether you agree with the removal or not (I personally don't have an opinion on the game since I haven't played it).

The issue could probably resolved by better communication from Valve, but they're notoriously poor at that.

Steam is just one distribution service. This isn't that different from a store removing some controversial product from its shelves. The devs can just self-publish the game on their site if it comes to that.

Sure sure, they're well within their right to remove whatever they want. Some clarity on what will and what won't be removed would be nice though.

Wish it wasn't. Plenty of people saying how they want to kill children in the game, SJWs and more.

I imagine Hatred will become the main argument against video game.

Example 1

Example 2

In particular, fuck the people who want children as targets.

You know, the original Fallout had killable children back in 1997, and people complained when that was removed in 3 and NV. Obviously it was instantly modded back in.

And how exactly do you specifically kill SJWs in a mass murder simulator? Do they yell random political statements at you as their last words?

This is apparently enough for them to make the distinction.

As far as I'm concerned, the ones wanting SJWs to be killable have egos that is far too easy to hurt.

I'd say that was a smart move as they get a larger profit and broader audience if they avoid the more offensive material. Original Fallout was of course a product of its time and as time progresses, we take a stronger stand against the immoral.

Not having child killing in the games work out fine usually and if it's there, better to have it in the background rather than the foreground. Not as offensive but gives an idea of the immorality/tragedy in that world.

Being the one to pull a trigger on a child, that's going to raise some flags.

The most likely outcome is that they'll allow modding rather than go with fan suggestions.

Oh god, I have a feeling a Steam Workshop on that game would get real ugly real quick.
