What does that even mean? I honestly hate it when people use that term.

I think it means the could use fine-tuning in places and it's still a good game but could be better. I don't really know if that's true or not of SS though, outside of having no inn function. I always felt like it did a lot of cool things that PiT didn't, and in a lot of ways PiT seems like a step back to me(Bro Items).

Also I almost agree with not liking BIS as much because the first time I played it I didn't really like it. But that was because I was sick and in a bad mood and when I went to replay it I liked it more (though I haven't finished it again yet). SS will always be my favorite though.

I felt like the Bros items kinda added a nice touch to PiT because you couldn't just spam attacks and then use a honey or whatever regen'd BP, you had to be conservative and use your items well

But it was dumb because to beet the last few bosses in a reasonable amount of time you need to use the BI's and so you just get the badges that let you do it infinite times.
It also doesn't really limit you're use of them all that much because you can buy a bunch of BI's just as easily as you could buy Syrups, it just added a needless level of compilation on it. If they really wanted to limit you they just should have made some sort of charge system so you couldn't use the things to many times per battle or whatever, and also make the bosses take less then forever to kill.

You got so much cheddar in PiT that it didn't really matter. I bought like 99 of each item and still had a shitload of coins left, so it wasn't like cheddar made you conserve them.

I kinda wanted to do a Bro itemless run.

The thing about the Bro Items was that they were actually fun to use.

I thought the bro attacks were fun too.
I did really like that SS rewarded you for using Bro Attacks a lot because then you could use the Special variants.

So Radiant Historia, when will I get party-wide defense buffs, double damage zones, a quick attack that can oneshot the enemy healer, and 8 turns in a row?

I've kind of been playing Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest at the same time, one because I heard how good it was, and one because I've heard pretty much the exact opposite. Guess which is which?

Yeah, Secret of Mana can be a real grindfest. Glad to hear you're enjoying Mystic Quest, man!

I actually haven't been too rustled with the grinding yet, because the action-oriented battles make it feel like it's going by pretty quickly.

Mystic Quest is really a joke though. The only times I die is when I stop paying attention after tapping the A button a million times.

Things really pick up in Mystic Quest after Chapter 9 where you can select who gets to be in your party.
The story gets kind of terrible in Chapter 9 though what with that whole Barthandelus deal.
