Wow sorry but your Robot Master order was kinda terrible

Also lol playing on easy

The bosses were way easier than the levels. Besides, it's my first ever playthough of a Mega Man game, I was doing it out of fun. For the same reason, I don't want to play on the 'Difficult' setting first time around, as the whole thing is new to me. It took me a lot of tries before realising that after you shoot, you don't run any faster, like you do in Mario games.

Also I thought Metal Man would be hard, because I knew his weapon is a game breaker but didn't know he could go down with a few basic megabuster shots. I was planning on warming myself up on the ones I thought would be easiest. Quick Man and Crash Man were the most challenging for me, even though I had their Super Effective weapons before trying their stages. :/

Thanks for the advice on the Wily castle anyway, guys. I thought that's probably it, but I kept messing it up and wondering if item 2 would work instead.

I think the actual order by boss weaknesses and level difficulty is:

Metal Man
Wood Man
Air Man
Crash Man
Flash Man
Quick Man
Bubble Man (he's beaten by metal man's weapon, but you need wood man's to take out air man so he goes over here)
Heat Man

And then in the Wily stages when you fight Metal Man again he's bodaciously one-shotted by his own weapon so he's weak to himself.

The problem with any order for MM2 is that everything is jumbled up. The Metal Blade works on at least half of the bosses and there's a weakness triangle between Metal, Quick, and Flash.

Quick Boomerang is useful if you're out of Metal Blade ammo.

sometimes I forget the blue bomber is normally blue because I have the metal blades equipped for like 95% of the game.

Only time QB is useful is Metal Man's stage with the drills. Same goes for the bit in Wily's castle with the drills.

Yeah but those two hallways were like eighty percent of the game's playtime

Also
>try to use QB
>not prepared for close combat

why do you even

Galaxy the QB is good in a lot of situations if you use it right, but it's problem is that there are other better weapons, so it's not entirely necessary. It's actually better than the buster, you just have to be closer. In a megaman game, unless something is shooting at you, there's not much point to kill it if it's super far away from you and not doing anything.
