Gah! I'm trying really hard to remember the name of a game I played a long, long time ago... It was set in Russia, where you had the choice of playing as one of 3 characters. Each character had a different set of tasks given to them to perform, but the inevitible result was defeat. Everyone was dying from the plague or some such disease, and you had to make a lot of moral decisions through it's admittedly short course. Stuff like medicine and food was hard to come buy, and became more expensive as the game progressed.
You were visited by creatures or men or SOMETHING that spoke to YOU (not you, the character, but you, the player (much to the disconcertion of you, the character)) and gave you these missions and objectives to carried out. They were dressed as the medevil doctors that wore those crow gas masks, except they actually LOOKED like humaoids with crow like faces, hidden beneath a hood...
The game was admittedly flawed. It had a lot of graphical issues, ran slowly, and controlled somewhat awkwardly. However, despite all of this, it was held in high regard by the few that played it.
It's name was... Something along the lines of Pandemic I think (but not, it was something else...), but it's so long ago I can't remember exactly... And I believe it was for the PC.
Can anyone help me remember the name of this fantastic game? It's going to bother me for ages if I don't...
maybe
Pathologic?
