I'm just waiting for these buggers in terms of Merch.

They'll also have a Gamestop exclusive Soldier: 76 and a Blizzard store exclusive Pharah.

Defense seems too strong in general imo. When playing with a stack we often stomp Defense letting the other team get not a single objective, but on Offense we often barely fall short of winning against the same opponents. The last point on the maps is incredibly hard to secure if the other team picks Bastion Torbjorn Junkrat.

From what little I've played, I feel like a lot of maps could use more flanking routes. The usual response to people squatting on a point or holding a choke is "just flank 'em", but when there's only one other viable route it's easy for the defending team to hold both.

The other problem is that some "flanking routes" just end in an extremely narrow chokepoint into the wide open area where the entire enemy team is, so they're really bad.

This game could use more good support and flank players. As it is now, at best you get a support and a tank, but that generally can't carry the reaper and widowmaker that is constantly getting killed and missing their shots.
I wish people would use two tanks more often. Maybe even 2x tanks and 2x supports while attacking.

It also seems like I'm a half-decent Zarya: https://masteroverwatch.com/profile/pc/ ... leech-2844
As I write this, I'm ranked 284 by score in the EU with her.

If I decide to tank, I pick Zarya. I likewise don't know how you're supposed to maintain high energy for as long as the one achievement expects you to, because while I get it up to the 90's fast enough, it always drops down into the 30's by the time the enemy has started to push again. Maybe if I'm facing a team that just trickles in constantly instead of grouping up. (Which was something that our group that got stonewalled on Volskaya kept failing to do effectively, coming at them in groups of two or three)

I think the map I hate attacking on the most is Temple of Anubis. With only one entrance it's just A funnel of death for the attackers

there's three entrances into that room, two of which are almost completely in cover from the point, and several ways around from there. if you're any character with vertical mobility, you can also go up and over.

it's really not that bad if you don't just go for the middle route when they clearly have that locked down

i love being roadhog on defense at that part. on most teams i'll be able to hook people into junk rats trap, symmetras turrents or tor's.

have i mentioned how much i love pud-roadhog

also things ive noticed:

you CAN hook D's mech as it's ulting. this can be the best idea OR THE WORST IDEA

you /can/ reflect hanzos ult with genji. it is EXTREMELY hard with gen needing to be bodaciously in front of hanzo at hte perfect angle with his reflect on. hanzos ult is an arrow for a -split- second and can be reflected back.

if you parkour wall jump with lucio 9/10 people will be unable to find you because you blend into walls with your natural camo. or they might just be stupid idk

Also, you can reflect Tracer's, Zarya's, and Mei's ults if you're fast enough.

I just did half decently as Lucio. I kinda like the passive healing while I can still actively help the people around me unlike with Mercy where I'm mostly like "Shit, where's a good cover where I am still in range of healing who I'm healing?"

Also I've been underestimating Mei, one pulled off a triple kill on a Reinhardt, me as Mercy and whoever I was healing at the point, I think a Pharah. Not even using her ult, just coming from the side managing to freeze us all in place before we noticed, then picking us off like ripe fruit with her right click.

I really like playing Genji but I can't wrap my head around Tracer or Reaper. They're much more gank-focused and I'm not really about that lifestyle. Genji is also gank-heavy but to a lesser extent than those two. I'm also terrible at McCree but that's because I'm not enough of a cowboy

Reaper I'm having trouble with figuring out, but the way I play Tracer is that I don't focus on getting kills. I just focus on being as annoying as possible. If an enemy takes a bunch of damage and turns away to heal, that's a second or so that they're not working towards the objective and the rest of my team can move up and do their thing.

Also hunting supports is pretty good. Symmetra's turrets can be devastating when placed properly, but Tracer can gun them down in a second and use recall to heal up afterwards. Lucio is the one support she's not so great against, her pistols don't deal quite enough since he's usually regenning his own hp, but the others don't have a good enough response to her damage since they're so squishy.

It's also great using her bomb to clear out annoying turrets or a Reinhardt who's carrying the other team. Basically she's all about harassment and ruining a well-laid out strategy by being super annoying, which is why she's my favorite.

Reaper requires solid map knowledge to take advantage of his teleport. Get behind enemy lines, blow someone up with shotguns and get out with wraith form. For your ult, perch somewhere above the objective and pop it while dropping down on the entire enemy team. Do it while your own team is applying pressure. Ez POTG.

Tracer is very similar to Scout in TF2. Get in, pick someone off at low health or get in some damage and get back out again. Chase down people going for health kits. With your ult you can just zip in and get a guaranteed kill on their support before getting out with recall. Your low health though, so be carefull with disables like McCree stun, Roadhug hook and Junkrat trap.

Just curious, has anyone gotten lucky with the loot boxes and received something they actually want? Only thing I've gotten so far for Reinhardt is a lousy spray, everything else is for the characters I never use.

I like to switch characters often so I'm comfortable with the randomness the loot boxes give. I am saving up my moon bucks for a better Lúcio skin, maybe something blue. I got Zenyatta's white bird skin in a random drop and was pop flyin' with that since I love playing support.
