PiT definitely has the longest boss battles.
It's also so far the only RPG I've played with bosses with over 10,000 HP.

So you never played any Final Fantasy games, eh? You should change that.

My experience with FF is limited to a few hours of one of those DS FFs. Funnily enough, I briefly used Zidane as my online handle after watching my cousin play IX back in 2004.

Dyssidia is my favorite FF game, and the only one I've beaten...

Dissidia the fighitng game one? I loved that one.
The only other FF game I've played is Crisis Core and that was just a masterpiece of amazingness.

I never beat Dissidia as those last levels were complete bullshit.

A lot of people complain that PiT is way too hard, and it is kinda hard, but once you get the bros items down then you become a walking machine of death so.

Yeah, I actually found it easy, the only parts that annoyed me were the ones where they obstructed the easiest path in order for you to go some convoluted way, especially when you fall into the sewers near the end.

I mean, I get why, because it's a game and they need to make the levels longer, but I just kinda hated it when the game was like "oh look, the path that would have taken you two steps to do is now blocked. Better spend an hour just trying to get back to this point for a boss battle".

Dicks.

If I ever find myself bored for a thousand hours, I know what I'll be playing.

I saw somebody play FF1 for like ten minutes.

I think PiT might have really long bosses to compensate for the fact there is so few of them.
PiT was always my least favorite of the M&L's, there's just this feeling of blandness to the whole thing, even the level design.

I've played Final Fantasy III on the DS. I've never finished it, though.

Compared to PiT and BIS, Superstar Saga doesn't really have that much polish (even for a GBA game in comparison to a DS game).
For some reason, I never really liked BIS as much even though I anticipated it for two years. So I guess PiT is my favourite.

Huh... what is it with me liking games everyone hates?

Don't worry, I found BiS lackluster too. Not enough puzzles, and too many minigames for my taste.

Also, the bosses weren't terribly great either.

And Dream Team seems to be taking a lot from Bowser's Inside Story... suddenly I'm not so excited for it anymore.
