it's also an incredibly assholish way of killing people because you can backstab, and then just position yourself for another stab and they just can't do anything

if you're also a constant backstab fisher, just always circling around, it's also completely annoying for whoever you're fighting. not because it's hard to avoid, god no it's the worst offense ever, but because you're just wasting everyone's time.

I want to see someone apply pursuit predation to Dark Souls now.

Perhaps the better term for what is severely looked down upon in Dark Souls is backstab chaining.

Still want to see pursuit predation. Just bodaciously invading a world and following the host around until they get tired of it and attack or give up. The only thing would be preventing them from getting through a white fog.

Similar, but not quite what I want to see. I mean something that's not being played for laughs, with someone in full armor and weapon just following the host around, occasionally charging at them when they're in a fight to spook them into making a mistake before going back to quiet stalking.

Then when they attack or stop to send a message it's curtains for them.

So a really boring way to PvP

actually i did do that once to some guy who clearly had no idea what was going on in anor londo. full havel's, demon's great hammer. went at a walking pace because over 100% but hilariously the dude was scared to death and decided running was his best option

he ended up fighting the giants by the boss door and i just showed up and slammed him into the dirt after he'd gotten himself cornered by them
