AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I really want to get Skyrim. But I think it's probably wisdom to wait until it's on sale on Steam in december.

I've had zero incentive to pick up Skyrim again after I dropped it in January, even to play DLC or community content. I really wanna try Morrowind but my backlog is big enough as it is.

I hate Vampires, they just don't appeal like they did back in the day.

WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE GOOD LOOKING VAMPIRES THAT GO "AH AH AH".

It looked like there was some sort of bound armor in the Dragonborn trailer

I really hope it was. For some reason, conjuring up a suit of armor is more gratifying for me then just buffing up my defenses. I don't know why.

So today the Skyrim facebook page posted new pics of the upcoming DLC, Dragonborn.

Here are the two that I enjoyed seeing the most:





This second one is particularly interesting. That vine or arch-like thing is covered in what appears to be books. My guess is that this is the realm of Oblivion belonging to Hermaeus Mora, Apocrypha, which is said to be an endless library.

Even that monster shares certain traits with Hermaeus Mora. Green, tentacled, etc. I bet it is some sort of daedra that inhabits the realm.



EDIT: Just went onto the Elder Scrolls wiki and took a closer look of a shot taken from the DLC's trailer:



Yep, this is definitely the endless library.

This one wishes only to provide xp for your combat skills.

Just checked the wiki again and it said we will be visiting a daedric realm.

So who here is excited to meet the abomination that is Hermaeus Mora?

Yay, hermaeus mora is my favourite daedric lord, I hope there will be an option to serve him. Also does Red Mountain being visible in the background mean we'll be able to visit vvardenfel?

Nope, just Solstheim.

Remember, Vvardenfell is still fucked up from when the volcano erupted 200 years ago.

I think Skyrim might hate completionists. I'm at level 50, I've got enough combat skills to completely tear Alduin apart when we meet, Dragon Priests are going down like bandits, and I haven't even explored half the dungeons in this game.

One of my friends found vampires disguised as Dawnguard members yesterday.

Huh.

Apparently guards come yell at you if you drop weapons in cities now. And if you get flippant with them they give you a small bounty out of spite.

Just like in real life!

I think they already did that.

Any guard who can walk up to my tank of an ork berserker, decked in a dragon carcass, and wielding a dragon femur, and call me out on my shit is a guard deserving of my respect.
