ok, any cheddar making tips i can use? im now gonna start to save for a mount, im at 15 g at the making of this post:

professions are : enchanting (journeyman level) and mining (dont remember, but its higher than my enchanting... just learned how to smelt gold >.>;)

any good tips i can use to help my funds would be appreciated, cause at my current rate, i am racking in about 4 g a day, and about a level a day... so i wouldn't be at what i need (100 g) by lv 40

If you're a miner, go to the human starting area and enter their mine. Just keep stealing all their copper. Tuxedo Mask does that and he's WoW-rich.

If you don't want to do that, then I suggest just doing runs through your favourite instance and selling absolutely everything. I'm doing that currently for my own mount on Greymane, and I only need another 20 gold or something.

Mining is the BEST cheddar making profession in the game. 80% of the gold used to buy my epic flying mount came from it.

If you are at 125 mining, get iron, and lots of it. Its one of the best ores for a low level character to get, depending on your server's economy. Arathi Highlands and 1000 Needles are good spots for iron deposits, especially the perimeter of the shimmering flats.

If you are at 175 mining, Mithril might be a better choice than iron (check the auction house for iron/mithril bars/ore, and pick the one that is selling for higher). Just take laps around tanaris, and you should get a lot of mithril. Also going into the insect hives, they almost always have mithril ore, and you can grind out some XP and pick up decent vendor junk.

And just some general tips - do every quest you can possibly do, you will level a ton faster and pick up a lot of cash. Pick up EVERYTHING monsters drop, don't leave gray and white items sitting there, you will make decent cheddar from selling these to vendors. Invest in decent bag space, the more items you can carry, the more profit you will get from loot. And dont go crazy at the auction house and buy out piles of gear every few levels, save your cheddar.

That's what I do. For awhile, I was the second richest, then the richest when Tuxedo Mask bought his mount, then the second richest again, out of all the people I know that play. I make my own bags, armor, and weapons, so I barely spend any cheddar on armor. My friends yell at me for being a loot hog, because I grab and sell absolutely everything, and make a lot of cheap cheddar. I'm getting kind of poor now though because I'm busy playing as my lower leveled characters, and spending my main's cheddar on stuff for them.

ok, got my numbers; im at mining 175 ( on the dot ) and enchanting 100

being a rogue, i have been grinding the humanoids cause i can loot more munnies from em by picking their pockets before i go in for the kill.. and as for bag space... well, i only am running with my bp, a 16 slot and a 12 slot. my other bags are my ammo pouch for my gun and my enchant bag (20 slot )

Why are you using an ammo pouch on a rogue!? Rogues need throwing weapons, not hunter weapons. I would highly suggest you ditch your ammo pouch and get a real bag. The weapon in your ranged slot is really only used for stats. The only time you will ever use a ranged weapon as a rogue, is with deadly throw in PvP.

Hey, it's better than getting 40% of damage getting no bonuses if your a properly geared ret paladin.

ok, i need a suggestion on how to get this damned poison-tipped bone spear sold. saw it in the AH going for 75 g buyout, so i matched its buyout, and it was going for 50 g when i saw it. what should i set its starting bid price to get some cheddar off of it? ( also, i squee'ed when i saw the buyout price of the other one cause thats 3/4 of what i need for the damned mount)

I always undercut.

And any pre-BC rare BOE really does not go for a lot anymore. On my server at least.
