It's a clever, cyberpunky/fantasy adventure game.

tvtropes has a decent synopsis
Quote:
April Ryan is an ordinary art student living in the Cyber Punk metropolis Newport and applying for the local Academy of Arts. She has her share of problems with her parents, insecurity about her future, and increasingly strange dreams, but she also has some great friends, a job, and a friendly landlady. Then a weird Cool Old Guy named Cortez appears and tells her that she is The Chosen One who has to Save Both Worlds — and then he sends her to that other world, Arcadia, she is supposed to save. As her familiar world crumbles around her, April has to dive deeper into the secrets of the universe, fulfill cryptic prophecies, bring down an Ancient Conspiracy or two, cope with her friends' deaths, save the Guardian of the Balance, and ultimately restore the harmony between the Twin Worlds of Stark and Arcadia itself. And that all in less than two weeks.

I bought Jurassic Park and it's going to be terrible and I don't care at all.

How is it compared to the 2nd game? I always hear people saying how good that game is.

Does anyone know if Amnesia needs fancy graphics, or will it run okay on my laptop? The store page says no to integrated graphics cards but I'm not so sure.

Can't say that I've played the second one yet, but from what I've been told it's a mixed bag.

Some prefer the UI/Graphics of the first, but the combat mechanics of the second.
Most agree the second one is the better game though.
(At least according to some friends)

Let me explain the thought process behind buying this game.

1)MOTHER
2)FUCKING
3)DINOSAURS

Unrelated, NV is on sale again, this time for the daily sale so if you missed the flash sale earlier here's your chance gogogogo.

Unless they have laser cannons strapped to their backs, you should expand your criteria.
Oh yes

Let me tell you a tale of childlike naivety and tears...

When I was a kid, I was probably the biggest JP fanboy you could meet.

After many years I found out that one of my favorite game studios was developing 2 games based on my favorite franchises.

Back to the future and Jurassic park.
Needless to say, I was ecstatic...

After having played BTTF, It left a foul taste in my mouth, and I prayed this was a one time deal.

When the time had come, I was one of the first to buy the deluxe edition from Telltale (even after the game was delayed by a year) hoping to rekindle a fraction of that magic that I experienced as a child.

And guess what? It hated it.
One of the worst games that carries the JP brand. (and that's saying a lot)

tldr: BAAAW, It sucks.

The original Witcher has a combat system on par with your average Flash-based Korean MMO.

You'd better be in it for the story, because the gameplay will actually try to stop you from playing.

I was about to ask if I should get it or not.

Isn't there a mod that adds Fallout 3's map to New Vegas? I might get it for that, even though 3 itself doesn't seem to support Windows 7.

I forgot how good Call of Pripyat was.

Hot daisies this game is fun, though it gets rather unsettling any time you're in a secluded area (which is most of the game).
