also new batch of DLC quests came out today, you can now get the Dante and Animal Crossing Palicoes and the Final Fantasy stuff, plus they finally released online G-Rank Dah'ren

Also it's so great that you released an online Savage Jho, Capcom, but could you do me a favor and RELEASE THE G-RANK ONE ALREADY GAAHHHHHH

the final fantasy armor is shit. bad skills and bodaciously no fucking slots. it is the biggest disappointment i have ever faced.

edit: the fight with apex diablos isn't bad though, it has disgustingly reduced health so it's the easiest way to grind zenith gems

The only thing the ff armor has going for it is avarice, and that's not saying much. I might make the helm because it has +5 but yeah no slots kills it completely as a full set.

Seriously Capcom, why no slots? Or waist?

At least we got the babby Gravios event, I love events like these.

How do you get Garuga manes? I know you have to break something on its back, but that's kinda vague.

Breaking its back itself, not anything on the back.
Mounting it deals damage to it's back, its back is also really weak to the water element.
The best way to break it's back would probably to keep mounting it to knock it over then attack its back while it's down.
I'd assume it just gets scars on it's back like various other monsters do, like the Gravios or Khezu.

Oh man, the word 'back' just sounds weird to me now.

Got one mane as a quest reward and another from finally figuring out how to break its back. That only took two mounts and repeating hammering it in the back.

Also I need NINETEEN MORE GARUGA SHELLS in order to finish the armor set and a new hammer.

How dare you taunt me with Nargacuga armor that I can't finish until High Rank, you sluts.

Uragaan armor doing exhaust damage is awesome when combined with hammer, though.

Shagaru Magala wasn't that hard. I mean he hurts bad, but he gives you really big windows to heal.

Also the Caravaneer mentioned something about focusing on quests in Dundorma for now? It was in red text, so does that mean something or should I ignore that and not go do the 7-star Diamyo Hermitaur quest yet?

And also, uhh, does anyone want to go do some Arena quests with me? No? Oh.....OK.....

The Daimyo is the start of Dundorma quests.

Also I found out Seltas Queen is really easy to beat with a Heavy Bowgun.

I use the Sergios LBG with Slicing S on Seltas Queen.

It's got an 80% weakness to shot damage and slicing damage. And when I'm outputting around 400ish raw damage every volley it just gets stunlocked to death.

remember kids don't fucking use normal lv2 on the seregios lbg line, lv2 does shitty damage and is awful. use your slicing s.

So I found out that pretty much the most FUN FUCKING THING EVER is cutting off Rathalos tails using dual blades.

Hey so someone who's way better a technical stuff, can you explain physical vs. elemental damage to me? For things like poison and sleep, I get that higher numbers mean better chance of getting the status effect, but for instance, I have two thunder hammers, one has 728 physical damage and 80 thunder damage, and the other has 624/350. What's the better choice in which situations, assuming each time you're dealing with monsters weak to thunder?
