I finished SDR2 today.

Man, whatta trip. The climax was pretty intense.

I got kind of emotional at the end of the fifth trial and also in chapter six when poor Hinata was freaking out about what Junko told him.

Man, Dangan Ronpa was so intense. I played through the entire game in just 3 days or so. All those feels, ad hominem rhythm games and metaphorical bullets...

I also want to play SDR2 instead of read it, but the wait for the translation patch is killing me (especially because it will likely take MONTHS) so I've read up to the end of the prologue and a bit into the first chapter so as not to spoil any of the murders. Has anyone tried to just play SDR2 in Japanese and read the translations from the LP side by side? Because I might try that for at least the first chapter so there is one less thing I can be spoiled about. Sidestepping spoilers is so hard on Tumblr.

If you're aware of the Project Zetsubou English patch for the first game, chances are you're aware of the SA-formed group known as the SHSL Translation group. They were in the middle of getting through a fair chunk of the game when the NA localization announcement hit and they put the project on ice indefinitely. I'm in desperate help: so my brother and I love DR. BUT - we've never been able to play the game (seeing as how it's japanese). We've tried roms, but none work. Does anyone have any ideas?

There's an English patch out for the game, and a full release is scheduled for the PS Vita sometime next year.

Well, the only problem is I don't have a PS Vita, and every emulator I try with the rom (and other versions) dont work
