Tribes Ascend: GOTTA GO FAST

I've recently run into a problem. Whenever I click "play" when it gets to the tribes ascend logo like the game is booting up, I get the error "Tribesascend.exe has stopped working."
Does anybody know why this happens? I've decided to reinstall the game to see if that will have any effect, but I want to hear if any of you know what's wrong. Sorry for the tech support stuff.

My game's crashed about five times today, and I get blue screens of death on a regular basis (but I know this is a hardware issue and not directly related to T:A), but I can't say I've ever seen it die during the launcher barring an incomplete installation.

I think, for some reason, the data became fragmented. That's my best guess anyways. I reinstalled it and it works fine.

I have one from this one game-streaming site I used to go to. He's a cool guy. Then some other dude.

I am loving Capture and Hold. I love Control Point maps in general, due to the sheer amount of havoc that comes around with it. That, and there are no 5-0 steam rolls. Since matches last longer, you also gain more XP since time spent in a match is the main factor in how you gain XP.

Love those slow 6 AM games where someone caps every 5 minutes and you can just jog into the enemy gen room as a DMB

When enabled, Friendly Fire causes the Technician's Motion Sensors to explode in his face because they have no arming time. I've been talking about this on the forums for weeks now but the Techs didn't listen to me then...

All I can say is, serves 'em right. The karma of their own neglected bug coming back to bite them in the booty is nothing short of delicious.

About 25-30% of all my kills are melee kills.
