Meh, I wont be able to get it on release day, But i'm not trying to squash the console's awesomeness.

Except in the department of battery life. that REEAAALLY sucks.

I usually make sure to bring a charger wherever I go. Car charger, and if im going to a friends house, I make sure to bring an outlet charger.

It needs a second analog stick. If they made another first-person Metroid game I couldn't even imagine aiming with the stylus + touch screen.

I know, and the stylus controls always felt "loose" to me. It didn't give me a feel for how far or fast I was aiming.

Really? I thought it controlled really well, I believe the movement was one to one. Of course, the last time I played it was a few years ago. That said, the only problem I had with the control scheme was that it wrecked your hands, so you couldn't play it for very long.

Yeah that is kind of a low battery life, but I wasn't expecting much.

Not like I have time to play video games for more than an hour a day. I hope it uses DS/DSi chargers, that'd be nice.

It looks like the only charging device it can use is the cradle that comes with it...

I always play with the charger in when I'm at home anyway.

Also I dropped my DSi from plenty of tings. And knocked it off a table.

How exactly do you expect to play with a big cradle on the bottom of the entire lower section

I thought there was a regular charger included, and the cradle is just a "bonus" of sorts.

The DSi charger is compatible with the 3DS so you don't need to use the cradle if you don't want to. Just get a DSi charger.

Talking about durability of handhelds, something has happened to almost every one of my handhelds that I ever got.
My GBC got dropped so many times that the sound died. However it still worked with headphones.
My GBA was probably the least damaged of all of my handhelds; I even left it out while it was snowing once, it got covered in snow and everything was fine. A while later I lost the battery cover. That was it.
My GBA SP never really got any damage.
Same thing for my original DS because I didn't have it for very long.
My first DS lite was apparently opened and closed one too many times, because the same day I got Rhythm Heaven, KERRRUNCH and the hinge broke. Also the L button didn't work for some reason.
Nothing has happened to the second DS Lite I have, except for the part where I used it normally, took good care of it, and this Christmas, the L button just decided to call it quits.
