while on zelda, the floormasters from wind waker. I dont care how cartoon-y the style is, it's still a black hole with a hand pulling you in.

The two scariest games I've ever played are Silent Hill 1 and Enemy Zero for the Sega Saturn.

Ugh, in enemy Zero, the enemies are invisible and one hit they kill you and your gun takes time to charge befre every shot.

The only way to detect the enemies is by this beeping sound system thing. Low tone beeps for behind you, mid range beeps for beside you, and high pitched beeps for in front of you, and, the closer they are, the faster the beeps are in frequency. so if you hear beepbeepbeepbepbepbep

you're pretty much dead.

around 1:30 into the video you'll see what i mean

Some moments in MGS2. Like when you're in the tanker mission, and the commandant starts yelling, "Enemy to the left!" ! "Enemy to the right!" ! I was freaking out screaming, "OH GOD THEY FOUND ME THEY FOUND ME" and then he says "...If there happened to be an intruder, that's what we'd do to catch him."

Not so much scary as needlessly nervewracking, but it did get me.

If online point-and-click games count, then Exmortis by LefflerWebDesign.

I cannot play with the sound on. D:

The SNES version of Clock Tower. I was scared before I even encountered Bobby.

Also I'm not sure if it counts, but when I was younger, I watched my dad play Quake and the Shamblers scared me.

For some obscure reason, the sneaking bits in every game freak me out big time. When I was 9 and I was playing Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets on my game boy and I had to sneak past people, I bodaciously started hyperventilating.

I'm not as freaked out about it now, but when I get caught by someone like a guard and they yell at me, I still jump out of my skin. :?

I'm a total wimp, I know... XD

Also, when I was even younger and I played King's Quest VII: The Princeless Bride, Ooga Booga land and the Boogeyman scared the crap outta me.

wow that is quite possibly one of the creepiest/weirdest things I have ever seen.
There was also a computer game where you hunted dinosaurs and got them as trophies, and when the trex picked you up and beat you on the ground with your ankles in his teeth it'd freak me out.
