For those asking about the slingshot and ax, the ax won't show up until the plant shop opens a week after you start, and the slingshot rarely appears before the first nookling upgrade.

I have no 3ds and will probably not obtain one any time in the near future so am turning to wild world for my ac needs
and daisies I forgot how fun AC games are. the city remains a boring place to be but these games are still super pleasant to play and I can't believe I forgot them for so long yo
the wonky town generation gave me a pretty awkward-looking layout. one of the things i noticed was a little empty nook of a place surrounded by cliff face on all sides, i have started making a flower garden there. I heard there's like some kind of flower breeding or stuff but I don't know if that's in this game??? i'm pop flyin' with the garden either way

I think flower breeding is in all the games past the first one! You put two or more flowers of the same species beside each other and water them each day and they should eventually spawn others, sometimes mixing the colors! For example, red and yellow flowers might make orange. I will say flower breeding along with most other things has been made much easier in NL, though.
