Turns out my cool university-discounted Lenovo Windows 8 laptop can't run this game for shit if there's very much going on. Joined a big server last night and could barely move at a human pace. Quit that, joined a less-populated "Smash Fortress" server that has a modded game (modded like Smash Bros. obviously) and custom Smash music and got the same lag. I attributed it to the customized shit (I deleted the custom music later and restricted downloading to maps only), but I have a stinking feeling that TF2 just won't run well on my laptop. Probs because of all the shit I have installed for school, coupled with the lousy amount of memory they gave me on the laptop.

At least it runs Sanic Generations well.

You sure its not your internet connection? Or check and see what's running in the background.

Dunno what the specs are on your laptop, and it's gonna run kinda shitty on almost any laptop, but with some determination and some tweaking maybe you can get a passable enough framerate to sorta see what you're doing. Mine's 5 years old and I can shoot Huntsman arrows in a general direction at least, and that's enough to play Huntsman

Could be Internet, it is my college Internet server.
It seems to fuck up on my smartphone quite a bit.

As for specs they're probably pretty laughable.

I have the MOST SUCKY INTERNET EVER. I have NEVER found a server under 600 ms.

It's even more of an insult because the computer I use is great.

the whole joke there is meet the spy somewhat hinted that the red spy is blu scout's dad, and now everyone usually pairs them as father and son. it seems to have potentially become canon.

I meant his REAL dad, pretty daisies sure the Spy isn't Scouts actual father.

scout says his dad disappeared, heavy says his dad disappears often, scout gets all defensive and switches to saying his dad is dead and that nobody ever met him and if that's not the heaviest implication you ever seen then i dunno what to tell you
