Good god, Valve's autobalance system needs fucking work. Sorry, but unless you put the entire other god-daisies team on the losing side, it doesn't change the fact that the other team is nanoseconds away from winning.

Like seriously, it keeps putting me on the losing side JUST as my team is about to win, curbstomp or not. It's pissing me off especially since nothing I do on the other team will fucking change the outcome. I'm fine if it autobalances me mid-game or something like that, but again, when we're nanoseconds away from winning and I get autobalanced, it becomes really tempting to smash my keyboard.

Autobalance has nothing to do with detecting who's winning or not, all it does is even out team numbers by switching the first person to die after the timer goes up to the team with less people. Generally it pops up if one team has 2 less people (10 on red and 12 on blu for instance) though that can be changed by the server admin.

What's causing that is probably people ragequitting right before they lose the game. It should be possible to prevent auto-balance from kicking in X seconds before the timer runs out tho.

That happens so much and it sucks. I honestly can't tell you how many times I've been in the ultimate clutch scenario where blue comes out of nowhere and wins.
But lately whenever they're down to a minute, half of blue team just quits

I don't think the format where you have to pick a Pyro is going to indicate much of any thing. Sure, the class can be useful but it's pretty underpowered.

Pyro has been nerfed a lot, solely because of people complaining about how OP it is and not bothering to use their brain to work around it.
People in competitive know how underpowered it is, but seemingly the only feedback that gets back to Valve is "Pyro is still broken remove from game please".

I don't understand how people can complain about Pyro when weapons like the Spycicle and the entire class of Heavy exist.
