The Soda Popper is most likely going to get nerfed again, I was on CSn and a few scouts were using it, and people were showing negative feelingms towards it.

The Soda Popper has never been anything but a nerf. It's never had a decent side-effect from the hype, even with mini-crits it put out less DPS than the scattergun. It's always been a wasted slot.

Now it's gone from "ew what why are you using that you're so dumb" to "oh hey you're using that. it's still kinda dumb but jumping a whole bunch is pretty fun"

I think the problem with the Soda Popper wasn't the dps, it was the burst.

Or the fact that jumping did jack shit.

It's basically another bonk, it's purely useless for anything except escape, which the Scout is already good at.

Yeah, it can bother a sentry, but people don't really like to consider teamwork in a scenario.

I like how it turns PANK and makes Kirby noises. :3
