I gave the book to her first, then I got the spell, I spoke to Teeekus and he wants the book back from her, but when I talk to her she doesn't give me any options. I pickpocketed into her inventory and she only had some gold, and no chat options hint to getting the book back. (Actually, I can only ask her for Rumours)

Try using a console code, then. Just do player.additem (whatever the item number is). Here is a list of items.

She's got a room in the inn, and there's a chest that she puts the book into.

It's funny to immediately swipe the book about a minute after she puts it in there. She then does research on a book that doesn't exist.

I had managed to sneak on their ship and steal all their shit without them noticing me but then they noticed me as I tried to sneak back off and the guards killed them all as soon as they came for me.

The Dark Brotherhood quest works fine if you kill everyone. I do it every single one of my playthrough's.

So now that we look obscenely handsome it's time we started this charade.

Another mod I've installed is called the Main Quest Delayer. Basically, instead of starting in a prison cell, I arrive off a boat in Anvil's docks. After looting the boat hold, which contained plenty of food / alchemy ingredients, I leave. Thankfully, it's night, so this (example) LP is not immediately brought to an excruciatingly painful end.


He just kind of... Stares at me.



I creep up behind him and pickpocket him immediately. Since he isn't technically a real NPC, he can't react to these kinds of things. His pear belongs to me now, forever!
