AWKWARD ZOMBIE

When you think about it, there are a ton of things in pokemon that are more disturbing than the pokemon themselves.

The society is based entirely around pokemon. There are no hospitals, only pokemon centers. Every radio station is tied to pokemon. Every single book relates to pokemon. Whenever you talk to someone, it's always "My Ekans is looking great!" or "I saw a Drowzee the other day!"

Without pokemon, their society would crumble. Actually, they wouldn't even have a society without pokemon, so they'd just stumble around aimlessly until they starved.

Actually, in the anime it showed there were hospitals. |:

With the nurses being Chanseys.

I only remember like, one. That hospital was either very underemployed or out of business. Only one guy for an entire hospital, and no patients.


In an unrelated matter, am I the only one who thinks mawile is awesome? I probably am.

For some reason, I have an affinity for water Pokemon. I've chosen Squirtle, Totodile, Mudkip, and Piplup as my first starters. Second playthroughs end up using the fire or grass starters.

It doesn't seem that odd to base a society around creatures that have superpowers - why build machinery to do stuff that a Pokemon could do?

Human society was highly dependant on animals in the past - especially horses. Now everybody has cars and stuff.

Anyway - I guess I meant that if you have a Pokemon with 'Fly' and 'Surf' you essentially have a private jet and boat in your pocket.

Can our technology compare with that?
