Sky Torch got a new facelift.

Check it out if you get the chance, there are quite alot of new shops.

Just don't fall.

Seriously.

We have enough bloody messes on the main world.

I've updated the main page with new things

Updated the survival portion of the page, showing off Little Torch and Sky Torch

At the top of the page you will see helpful ingame commands. Most notably the ability to form parties in game with your friends and teleport to each other. The teleporting has an hour cooldown, so use with caution.

I have removed one of the ranks /home ability, I have decided to not use any form of in game command teleporting.

Changed the ranks a bit.

Now that Reis minimap works with the server, and that I needed to remove essentials to get it to work, I have removed some of the things main ranks get, like /heal and /home, /hat, ext.

I was thinking of making it so that you need a higher skill level to access the nether, and making it so that you need a certain herbalism level to make potions.

Started a Japanese biome, there are now ponds, hot springs and some cherry blossom trees, I will probably edit the server textures to make the leaves PANK.

Hey, I made a shack near Little Torch.

That's really all I gotta say about that.
Oh, and I think I took someone's birch wood. Sorry!

I'm starting to get the hang of controling the terrain generation.

First Picture, a smooth transition between the desert and extreme hills

Second Picture, transition to extreme hills

Third picture, platues spawning in plains.

Yeah I did that when I started out :P

I need more ideas for biomes though, I can't really think of any more.

Maybe a Valley-like Biome with bridges and stuff?

I like that idea, I'll give it a go and post results. But I don't think there can be bridges, at least they would probably spawn all derp. Need more info though, what kind of block should the top layer be? Like how desert has sand, and should it snow or not?

Need moar ideas.

Some kind of rocky/volcanic thing? Sprinkle lots of obsidian and gravel everywhere, no grass or plants can grow, fires crop up often, cobblestone is common, ores can be found toward the surface.

I think I have an idea for this, probably make it an island that has a rare chance of spawning in the ocean, I will give it a go.

The valley is slowly getting there.

Using the forest biome for this.

Better version, only problem now is random pockets of water spawning in mid air.

Also abandoned mineshafts / strongholds stick out, it looks very neat.
