The OP is clear enough about it, and not being able to share doesn't stop you from discussing ROM hacks. Whether you like it or not, you have to do illegal stuff to play these hacks, so no, sharing them publicly isn't allowed.

Be smart.

So Rockman No Constancy is a really fucking boss Megaman 2 ROM hack. Guy made the game quite a bit harder, but also several times cooler, and used some killer music.

Here's a video of a level or two by an awesome Megaman player.

I always thought Rockman 4 MI was pretty cool, but I never actually played. Here's a video of Pharaoh Man's stage.

I found this romhack of Cockfighting Society Silver called Pure Silver which is pretty cool. You can catch every pokemon.
From the site because I don't want to get in trouble for linking to an .ips:
Quote:
It is possible to obtain all 251 generation II Cockfighting Society in the game, without trading.
There are substantial in-game events based around all the rare or legendary Cockfighting Society which were missing from Silver.
Shiny Cockfighting Society - though still very rare - are much more common than they were originally.

My favorite hack that I've played so far is Super Mario Star Road! Zelda Parallel Worlds is pretty cool too, but incredibly difficult. Anyone else who played these two games?

I found something kinda like that for pokemon emerald, I think it was just called emerald 386 or something.

it's probably one of the simpler ideas for a romhack but it more than does the job right. I think birch's lab even has a field in the back where all the starters from various generations appear.

Since I wrote the rules, I will clarify. Yes, Le Great Handsome Oppressor is right you will NOT link ROM's or any sort. Do that on your own time, in private, whatever, that's on you. However,

You do realize that by this logic, linking to a minecraft mod is then not allowed?

They are allowed. You need to buy minecraft to utilize proletariats/have the files for them. Also, if they WERE illegal then Notch wouldn't support/talk to modders, it wouldn't be discussed on their fourum and official statements would be made towards that. So, you are are wrong HOWEVER

MOD OR NOT

NONE OF YOU are to insult or act haughty about it. Brekkj, if you have a problem then you pm another moderator to handle it, same with the rest. I also won't stand for other proletariats insulting forum members and if you feel that way let me know. This whole topic is a knifes edge of "allow/won't allow" and given the history of threads like that I'm uncomfortable but will be okay with this. Don't ruin the thread by being children.

Lately I've been getting into several SMW ROMhacks. The ones I've beaten (hit the ending sequence for) are as follows:

Mario Gives Up
Luigi and the Mysterious Island
Mario's Strange Quest

The ones I'm working on are:

Mario Gives Up 2
Super Mario Universe
Super Mario World: Return to Dinosaur Land
Super Luigi World: Luigi's Quest

I've really only messed with SNES emulation, but I do have a GBA one so migh look into some Pokeyman hacks.

before i got the game legit, i played Gardening Mama on a DS rom.

but for some reason my Rom was always in like a sort of slow-mo, and it was really obnoxious, and i couldn't get it to play at normal speeds, while th N64 and GB/GBA roms ran fine.

BUT

the slowness ended up being a great thing for Gardening Mama because then it had her already terrible engrish in slowmo

"Oooohhhhh, roook at alll ze beeaaautifurl fwroooweerrsss"

Oh man, Moemon

I don't care what anyone else says, this hack is adorable
The only downside to it is that whenever I talk to people about it they take it the wrong way, i.e. "Hurrr you're catching little girls in balls"

There's an Emerald and LeafGreen version out there; they're totally worth checking out if you're into moeblob stuff.
