ODST's my favorite Halo. Less for the gameplay, more for the story, atmosphere, and having Wash, Jayne and Mal battling covenant to a jazzy soundtrack.

I think I would have liked ODST more if I hadn't bought it pretty much exclusively for the Reach Beta. I never really gave it a chance, but by now I've beaten enough of it that going through it again would be a chore and it was long enough ago that jumping in where I left off would leave me hella confused.
I also didn't like the city environments as much as the open fields and corridors from the other games. They were nice, they just didn't tickle my fancy the same way.

Halo Anniversary is only like 40 bucks, and if you get it new, the Halo Reach anniversary map pack comes with it.

Don't we already have, like, two threads for Halo?

Good job reviving a thread you find unnecessary.

That looks pretty great, actually.

Those humps you have on either side look like sort of useless topography features, though, since it's painfully apparent you'd be a sitting duck on them.

More info has been released about Halo 4. I thought it would be okay to bump the thread so we could discuss it.

Information on Halo 4:
-The story will feature the Chief exploring a shield world (designed to protect things from the Halos firing). This means new enemies, and they're not just covenant. You will fight the Covenant, but there will be completely new enemy types with their own weapons.
-Multiplayer is getting a revamp, along with its own entire storyline. The entire multiplayer experience takes place on a giant ship called the Infinity, where the new Spartan IVs train on a holodeck-like thingy. The battle rifle and covenant carbine are returning.
-In Multiplayer, you get more progression, such as unlocking upgrades and weapons for your loadout. I'm alright with this, really, since it fits into the whole story-based multiplayer. You can still pick up weapons that appear on the map, though.
-The multiplayer storyline will be released on a weekly basis, kind of like a TV show. A cinematic and 5 new co-op missions will be released each week. I'm not sure
how long this series would continue.

What do you guys tink about this? I'm up for it.

Halo 4: Tiny Mass Effect without the dialogue options and in first person.
I'd also heard that they planned to release notonly 4, but a second trilogy. 4,5,&6.

I'd buy it, then feel bad.

Halo 4 is NOTHING like mass effect, what the hell are you talking about? And they've confirmed it's another trilogy.
