Sonic battle was my favorite GBA game until I lost it. I have searched for it for years with no luck at all. I miss that robot guy called Emerl that could learn all those moves. Best sonic characters so far are; Shadow, Espio, Fang, Bean and Omega (That robo-thing).

I haven't played sonic for ages, last game being, "Shadow the Hedgehog" for the PS2.

I liked Sonic Heroes.

I mean... the only things it really did bad was the story and voice acting. The level design was actually pretty good in a lot of places, closer to the classic games than pretty much every game until Unleashed.

It's like why do people hate Heroes so much, man? It did so much shit right, and what it did wrong had little effect on gameplay.

Okay, that's a harsh generalization, but a lot of them DO.

There was also the relatively shallow gimmick that was basically "hey cycle through to this character so you break this obstacle and cycle over to this one so you can jump higher"

But I actually rather liked heroes, since the gimmick didn't so much get in the way as it did add unnecessary button presses which aren't so big a deal.

ShTH would have been a pretty OK game.

Except Sega decided it should be a Sonic game.

i mean if it was something completely different then it'd honestly be a lot better

but it wasn't.

I liked his color scheme.

man I really suck at the challenge gates, but that's on me more than anything else.

otherwise I have to say that so far (i've only gotten through the first six levels, and the first three level's challenges, along with the bosses and a few other random gates here and there) i've been loving the hell out of this game.
