I wasn't expecting the dialogue to be so 'comical' and I find the unending inane prattle between Pit and Palutenia to be both unnecessary and irritating.

The dialogue between them is hardly becoming of that between a Godess and her disciple either - they talk like a couple of high schoolers which makes for even more irritation.

Why there is so much going on in the lower screen when you barely have a chance to ever look down at it is also beyond me.

My hands also get tired/painful with this left-hand L-Trigger/Circle Pad + right-hand Stylus nonsense. I would much prefer the 3DS had a second right-hand Circle Pad for the sake of less hand/wrist/repetitive strain injury.

But still - suffering through this stuff the game itself isn't so bad thus far.

I just switched from stylus controls to button controls. It took a few minutes to get used to x being up and a being... whatever direction a was. It keeps the cramps from holding a tiny stylus away.
And as for dialogue, I keep killing bosses too fast before she can say everything so I never know what she wanted to say entirely!

Got the game a couple of hours ago and I love it already. I was afraid a few months ago that it'd be a bland "open world" Subspace Emissary with Pit, but I like how the game feels familiar but very unique, especially with all of the dialogue.

Also, anyone but me using the stand? It makes pushing L a bit awkward, but I really like the set up.

God I wish any of these bows at all were more useful. Nothing is over 2 stars in either category.

Fused a super badass Taurus Arm though. That's neat. Haven't played the online yet but I think that's the one I'll use the most.

also holy shit dat fake ending, it was blatantly obvious once the credits started rolling and it was just 8-bit instead of regular music but until then i was not expecting that

Meh, I expected a lot more chapters than just 9. Gotta give you credit, though, that was quite a twist.

I love how they just put "Sakurai" in the fake screen instead of his full name.

OH VERY MUCH YES.

This game is some fun shit. The controls are a TAD awkward and touchy, I can't count how many times I've fallen into pits just because I hit the slide pad a LITTLE too hard and Pit did some sort of fucking somersault off the edge, but other than that it's really fucking hilariously fun. ESPECIALLY the land battles, which are just genius.

I guess difficulty might be a problem, but it's really very adjustable. It's a literal slide-bar you can change before every chapter, that grants more hearts and better loot for higher difficulties. But, it's got this weird way of showing it, because on higher difficulties Pit takes a LOT more damage. Anything over 5 is pretty hard. It dosen't seem to affect how much damage ENEMIES take, though. So no matter what, bosses tend to die kinda quickly. Although it's a very fast paced game so I guess it works pretty well with it.

Anyways it's the best 3DS game I own and I own pretty much all of them that are worthwhile right now.

Really? It seemed to me like they took extra hits in higher difficulties. But I could be mistaken. They do shoot a lot more on higher difficulties though, for certain.
Also, clubs4life.

I've only been using Claws and Blades, but just because they've been the only good weapons I've been able to fuse (how am i supposed to buy anything when everything costs so much, video game).

That Taurus Arm though, I did a test run with it, and it's pretty beast in terms of damage. Might not be more DPS but I'm not sure on that.

Still need to play the multiplayer. Should get around to that.

Midnight Palm all day long.

Was almost disappointed in the story until the fake ending.

Goddamn I love this game.
