Come on guys, don't be stealing bandwidth from xkcd guy. Save the image to Photobucket or something. I'll do this one for you, but from now on, do it yourselves.
If he didn't want his images hotlinked, why would he put "Image URL (for hotlinking/embedding):" at the bottom of each comic?

What ever happened to side scrolling Metroid games? I believe the last one released was Metroid Fusion, unless you count Zero Mission. Either way, we need another one. Desperately. Those games had clever level design, and not such an emphasis on combat.

Or maybe I'm just a pansy who doesn't like FPS games. Regardless.

Well MP3 is the last of the Prime trilogy, and we don't really know where Metroid is going from there. "Metroid Dread", a sidescrolling sequel to Fusion, was at one point in development, but it hasn't been heard from in years.

Alright, I didn't see that one. Carry on with your usual idiocy and pictures of cats, forumgoers.

If Prime is a trilogy, then what does that make Hunters?

I have a feeling they're going to carry this cash cow right down to the river. (preverbially)

Hunters was kindof a coda from the Metroid Prime story; it had nothing to do with Phazon or Dark Samus or anything from the previous Primes, even though it takes place between MP2 and MP3.

I don't think they're going to stretch out the Prime story past MP3, since Metroid as a whole is still a huge franchise for Nintendo, and still has a developing plot. They honestly have no reason to; they'd still be able to do FPS Metroid games, even if they're not tagged "Metroid Prime".

I've never actually played Metroid before.
SHUT UP MY CHILDHOOD WAS MAINLY SPENT PLAYING ZELDA AND POKEYMANZ ON N64.
Which game should I start with? I heard there's one for the DS.

Don't do it! It sucks! Play any of the Primes on the Gamecube, or maybe Mission Zero for the GBA.

Who even played Hunters for the story mode? It was bull shit. Utter bull shit. I think I beat like 3 levels before I got bored and started playing over Wi-fi. Srsly. Wi-fi multiplayer was the only reason to buy that game.

I used to love that game. Back then (when I was 6), I didn't realise it was such a stupid game.
But it's Pokeymans.

It's still plenty of fun for the whole family! :awesome:

I have never played a Metroid game either-- Wait, wait. That's a lie. I played the first one for Gamecube for 5 minutes. My friend had to go make something to eat and she handed me the controller. I just spent my time rolling around as a ball. She really liked it, maybe I should grab a copy.

I did... And completed it, too.

It was somewhat disappointing.
