I'm generally more into the older games. I've had a go on at least one game from all the other series and while I do like them, my favourite series is the classic series (although I'm quite fond of Starforce). It's probably partially because it was Tuxedo Mask who got me into Megaman in the first place, as he used to make comics with the old sprites and I used to watch him play the first couple of games a lot, and after a while I decided it looked interesting and that I'd have a go at it. I also like the designs of the robot masters, as they're pretty fun to draw.

And I also like button mashing. :P

The gameplay definitely feels shallow at first, but after you've played a few stages, it gets pretty fun.

Speaking of music, I asked my piano playing aunt if she could teach me to play a song on piano if I could find the sheet music for it. she said yes, so I got the sheet music for Airman's theme.
She seemed intimidated.

EDIT: I'm talking about the classic series, for the record. Hadn't even occurred to me that the other series were being discussed too.

I taught myself to play Snakeman, Metalman and Quickman's themes on the keyboard, although just the main part. I'm lazy and just learn that part, then learn the chords and stick a style on whenever I play it. :P

And yeah, I don't really think of them either. To be honest the Zero series is probably my least favourite - I don't mind the gameplay or anything, but there's just something about the art style that kinda puts me off. :? I know it's a trivial reason to dislike a game, but yeah.

I love the classic games, X as much, and Zero (well the first one anyway, haven't played the rest) is pretty decent. Legends is nice too, but outside of those I don't really care for the other series.

I swear though, Mega Man 2 is probably the only game where I can pretty much remember everything that's about to happen next, I've played it so much. Usually a game does good if I play through it twice at all.

I like the art style of the X and Zero series but I've only really played the original series and Battle Network.

Also, Command Mission.

I know a lot of Megaman 3 like the back of my hand since I've played it a ridiculous amount of times, especially Snakeman's stage.

Although Needleman and his stage still give me trouble to this day. Man I hate that guy. :B

I played Mega Man 2 and got to Wily Stage 2 with that weird boss that you have to bomb. It was pretty fun, but I didn't really feel it was that noteworthy of a game.

That's about my sentiments on the series.

I can't stand that freaking boss you have to use the crash bombs on. I swear, that is daisies near impossible for me to accomplish most days.

Do you have any Mega Man playlists, Chloe? Or any suggestions for game scores to listen to?

I have a Mega Man playlist of my own, but it's hardly comprehensive.

I have a ridiculous amount of remixes on my iPod, if that's what you mean. :P I got a number of them from Tuxedo Mask, but most are from Youtube. They're all in my favourites on my account which is here, but it's not really organized so you'll probably have to sift through some stuff in order to find them.

If you meant the original tunes, I don't have quite as many of those, but again the ones that I do have I got from Youtube.

I've never played a megaman game. So where's a good place to start?

Ah, I see you fave stuff rather than have playlists. Thanks all the same.

My favorite is the X series. I know each one on the SNES thoroughly.

My least favorite serieses would have to be Starforce and Legends...

I'd say MegaMan 7. Games 1-6 are all summed up in the little recap in the beginning of 7, and that game introduces Bass.

From there I'd have to say X. X2 you can skip because there isn't much you'd miss.
Zero gets revived, Sigma comes back.
If you like MegaMan classic over X then you should play all the other ones and maybe try Battle Network.

However, if X floats your boat then at least play X3 and try out the Zero series.

Here's 200 Mega Man tracks

Also my favourite series is Classic, then X, then Zero, then ZX, then Battle Network, then whatever.
