Wait, some of the people here actually think this is some sort of remade DS? I figured they just didn't like companies making next-gen consoles and handhelds. =[

So here's hoping that when they actually do the improved console, that they inevitably do, that it is a good system. They've had a spotty track record about it.

The Lite is my only DS. I didn't get a fat one, didn't get an i. I'll also probably not-need this one until there's a Lite version of it.

Well don't forget, the DS had power roughly comparable to an N64, and that power wasn't used very often.

Hmm, I suppose that's true. (The part about it not being used)
Hopefully, though, if it does have the power of the gamecube, it will be utilized more often then the DSs power was.
