My opinion is:

That one sucks.

I actually liked FF X-2. I never finished it because I was horribly underleveled and had to give it back to my friend.

I've never played a Final Fantasy game, so I'm relatively apathetic towards this. Might pick it up, we'll see.

I'm not saying I love it or hate it, just taking a neutral stance, and yet I'm sure you will all say I'm trolling. Because really, what I say doesn't matter any more, just the fact that I do so you can hate me.

I'm sure my opinion will be null and void, as my opinion of the quality of various Final Fantasy games is nearly the opposite of most players.

Oh, wait, I realized I forgot about Final Fantasy X-2.

That one also sucks.

I thought at least a third hated Final Fantasy VII, saying it was the worst game of all time and a complete travesty. That games haters practically define the "Its popular now it sucks" standard for videogames.

Yeah, they really did.

The thing about FFVII is that when it came out it was new, exciting, and original, but then everyone ripped it off and now it seems cliche' and unoriginal.

I just don't like the name

and turn based games. I hate all turn based games with a passion of a million suns

Honestly, the main problem I have with Final Fantasy games is that most of them only want to be kind-of turn-based. I hate that whole "you move when that bar fills up and also if you take too long the enemy attacks" because then I am rushing through menus like "CRAP CRAP I'M TAKING TOO LONG THE ENEMY IS GONNA ATTACK ARGH!" so I don't have time to properly plan out a strategy and end up making a lot of mistakes.

So you'd prefer Versus?

I've never found FF to be particularly interesting, character or story wise. I do like the tactics games, however, with the exception of the first one because I haven't been able to play it.

I don't really know anything about this one, but they're generally not too varied.

@Zink: There's usually an option in the menu to set it to a wait system, so you have as much time as you need to select an action

@Bacon: If you like the genre, FF Tactics is definitely worth picking up. (if you have a PSP and were unaware, there's an updated version for it)
