You can still have a good game with faults. Even though the first one was good, the second was a drastic improvement in gameplay.

See, you make it so hard for me to take you seriously.
That came out wrong. It was more just a personal backlash against the guy who claimed Metroid Prime was gamings Citizen Kane. Given more than a few words, I will say that the combat itself tends to air in a balance between reptitive and, when enemies respawn in high traffic areas, annoying. The boss battles are well done and relatively clever, and the 2D puzzles are challenging and enjoyable. The jumping challenges are very rarely actually challenging, except when they demand precision that shouldn't be required in an FPS.

Okay, condense that down to 10 words.

As for Metal Gear Solid 2, I stand by it.
