Supposedly the game takes place a number of years after the originals, and features the characters descendants. Why they look almost exactly like Isaac, Garret and Mia, I have no idea.

If it is their descendents then I would find it cool if they run into Ivan and he is like some ancient sage.

I think the best thing about GS was Psynergy, a psychic elemental magic. To me it just seemed original and I liked it, plus the Djinn.

And yes, I liked Ivan too, and I want him back!

Though I wonder if Alex will be in this.... I remember the ending in Golden Sun: Lost Age that [spoiler]he got the power of the Golden Sun but was buried under a mountain or something--so perhaps he got out? That would make one epic final boss fight I'm sure.[/spoiler]

I loved the Psynergy powers, and how you used them to solve puzzles.

I wonder how they'll do it with the touch screen?

Perhaps they'll be incorporated in battles? I know in one video it didnt show them doing it, but perhaps it can be like, touch to select the move.

Idc if it does have some half-assed touch screen thing, I'm still buying it.

And am I the only one that isn't won over by the graphics? I kind of liked the old games art style better. I don't mind the new landscape, just the characters look sorta... weird.

Saw an article on IGN about this a while back, looks half decent, But i'm with Tales on the original art style.

The 3d works wonders for the summons though

I really hope they use the touch screen and not just for retard things. Like using it to use psyenergy and to kill monsters. Sadly though a lot of non-puzzle games for the DS tend to just ignore the touch screen. Which is sad because it is a very innovative and fun device.
