That's why my perfect gaming system combo would be the wii and the 360.

If only my brother still lived at home, I'd still have one of everything. Woe is me. (I have the Wii, the 360, and my own personal computer, he has the PS3, his own personal computer, ... and the 360. Yes, we both have one.)

Crap, Nintendo fans are whiney bastards. ALL THE WII GAMES SUCK WAAAAH. NOTHING'S BEEN RELEASED WAAAAH. CASUALS ARE TAKING OVER WAAAAH.

If you're talking first party, on the Wii we've had Mario, Zelda (and another to come, "ITS A GAMECUBE PORT WAAAAH" guys), Mario Kart, Metroid, Smash Bros, Battalion Wars, daisies near all the old classics have been released on VC... the only 'main' 1st party series I can think of that we haven't heard anything about are Star Fox and F-Zero. But F-Zero has always been a little dead in the water (with the exception of GX). And yeah, there's a lot of "casual" shovelware. But the main producer of that is Ubisoft (Imagine Babies, anyone? ...Thought not), Nintendo can't exactly do anything about that. Look through the rest of the 3rd party support and there's some awesome titles. de Blob, Okami (yes, it's a port. At least we actually got it. We wouldn't have on GC), Heatseeker...
If you don't like the shovelware shit, don't buy it. And encourage any casual gamers you know not to waste their cheddar either.

And we have a solid online, too, after a shakey effort with the DS. Yes, Friend Codes are about the most annoying and retarded thing ever created since Barney The Dinosaur, but Nintendo have always been ridiculously family-safety obsessed. That's hardly new news. Brawl doesn't count for dodgy online, that's peer-to-peer. If you're having problems with that, you only have each player's internet connection to blame.

Besides which, remember the Gamecube? At least we get games now, that had almost no 3rd party support because of it's weird disks with little memory.

Oh yeah, and that list of 1st party titles I put up there? Try to remember this console is only about 2 years old. There's still another 3 years at least to go at.
