It's like Oblivion... only it fails.

Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360. I figured that even it would be worth $20. Sadly I lost my receipt and couldn't return it.

Also, I rather enjoyed Sonic Riders, though I did get my copy as a gift.

Nintendogs. Yes, I was actually suckered into buying it.

And Sonic Rush.

Excite Truck too.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Nintendogs. I seriously have no idea why I bought that game.

I have owned my fair share of bad DS games.

Spore. I got bored with it after a week and now I can't even sell it.

I regret renting any Spyro game after Ripto's Rage.

... And I bought Master Quest used before getting the Zelda's Collector's edition.

That's about it.

Err...

Nope, can't think of a single game I regret buying. Even the what-I-originally-thought-was-really-overpriced Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack turned out to be really handy! Probably because I have a Spore obsession, but still.

I only got two movie-based games (Small Soldiers Squad Commander[not to be confused with the very sucky other Small Soliders game] and Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone for GBC) and both of them turned out to be brilliant games!

Protip: every time a videogame gets loads of media coverage because of how cotroversial it is, it will ultimately suck at anything other than being controversial.

Why did you even think that was a good idea?

I would say nothing, but only TWO game meets the regret buying point for me. Megaman X4 & Children of Mana. :colbert:

I was suffering from 'puzzle game withdrawl' - so my judgement was impaired.

I downloaded 'Cubello' when I was feeling more ambivalent about Wii Ware - as a puzzle game it's good but a little short (endless mode is nice).

Monster Hunter.
Clunky combat, little to no storyline, cheap enemies, overpowered enemies, terrible camera, and a crafting system that'll have you picking through old rubbish bins.
