It's a really neat PC point and click adventure game made entirely with claymation. def recommend it if you like those kinds of games, or claymation in general

Gunmetal looks dope. I'll check it out.
Almost forgot about a PS3 (maybe 360?) game called Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. Think of a third person RPG sci-fi shooter where you shoot thousands of giant insects, the kind you'd expect from cheesy horror movies. Controls are almost identical to the first Lost Planet or Saints Row games, which are really fluid and action packed. 4 (or is it 5) classes to choose from, tons of weapons, a lot of them are REALLY abstract (Like....a chain lightning sniper rifle, or a grenade launcher that shoots 20 homing bouncing grenades, etc.). Has 2 player splitscreen or up to 3 players online.
It was a cheap game I picked up for the hell of it at Gamestop and I didn't expect much out of it. I was totally blown away by what I found.

Soul Blade; Or at least I don't think anybody has ever heard about it... Nobody seems to remember that it's the first game in the SoulCalibur series anyway. It hold up pretty well I think and I really enjoyed the Edge Master Mode, it gave you new weapons, told the character's story, and had different challenges for each stage. It was really cool.
Is Magical Starsign not so well known? I love that game. It looks so cutesy but if I remember correctly some of the plot was kinda dark. It was also kinda fun to play with a party of mages for once. Mokka and Pico were my favourites. It was the perfect game to play when I lost the use of my left hand for a few months too.
Oh, and I'm with impmon about Aracana Heart 3, my friend and I played it together a lot. But I'm not too good at it. I mostly used Zenia and Dorothy with the Ice Arcana which probably isn't the best for them. But I also liked using the dice one with Dorothy.

Magi Nation, basically Pokemon but a MILLION TIMES BETTER. The plot is... interesting, but not the reason you would play it. It's a GBC game that is actually pretty daisies good looking for Gameboy, and is enjoyable all the way through.

I really like Enter the Matrix. It was put out during the time when all third person shooters had the slow time mechanic but I love that game, both for the story and the gameplay.

I played Magical Starsign but it kind of felt unfair with how much damage enemies could put out, the pitiful amount of health your spells could restore, and I didn't find a Revive spell if there even was one.

It's a pretty hard game; I was surprised. I died a lot. Eventually after dying to a boss I would actually wait until the planets were aligned in a way that would benefit me but not him. You eventually get a spell to move the planets on your own which can help. Or so I remember, I don't remember the game perfectly. The thing that sticks out in my mind the most is finding a chest in a chest. Also Mokka and Pico dominating late in the game. I think near the end it got a bit easier but at the point I was also in the habit of grinding.
I don't remember there being a ressurection spell either but there's an item that does that and it's fairly common later on. I think Lani and Chai get pretty great spells to keep up with the massive damage you take too. So basically, it's really hard up until you're 3/4 of the way through, at which point you get pretty powerful.
Man, now I wanna play it again... But I should finish some other RPGs first.
EDIT: Oh! I was grabbing it from my room and remembered something, did you figure out how to guard? The attacks still did a fair bit but if you got the timing down you could lesson the damage you take like in the Mario RPGs. There's also a timing for your attacks too. I think the game started getting easier once I got that down.

Did anyone else ever play Metal Arms? I loved that game. I never see it mentioned anywhere, though, so I've always had the impression it wasn't well known. You play a robot who goes around shooting other robots to protect some robots, and the humor is clever and the gameplay is fun and the music is great and I love it. I could listen to the theme song forever and ever but maybe that's just the nostalgia.
OH WAIT NO IT'S BECAUSE IT'S JUST THE MOST KICK BUTTINEST THEME SONG

Suikoden Tierkreis is an awesome RPG for the DS with loads of enjoyable characters and enjoyable voice-acting and I'm the only one who's ever played it.
Anyone who's played Brawl has heard of Starfy. Which is many people.
Man I really loved the old Yu-Gi-Oh game The Falsebound Kingdom. It was for Gamecube and was basically the best parts of that series: i.e., all the cool monsters without actual cards.
The mechanics were like an RPG: you picked three monsters to put on your team under a team leader (one of the characters from the show). Characters bestowed bonuses to their monsters, but certain monsters did better with certain leaders. Only suprise! You could put non-compatable monsters onto their team anyway, and over time their compatablility would sync up and they would get their bonuses. Different leaders had different abilities and bonuses to grant, and with all the monster abilities and situations you encountered, you could build teams for lots of different scenarios. These scenarios include conquering bases, fighting waves of monsters, racing to capture certain strongholds, and dodging cannon fire from giant guns.
Oh and this game also had an actual plot, one that was pretty good, especially for what could have been just another lame anime game. Also, it has absolutely exquisite music. Sample:
I see this game in used bins all the time for three dollars. If you ever liked this show as a kid (and if you were a kid back then, odds are high that you did), this game is worth every cent of that three dollars. Or more.
Man, I played the shit out of that game! Its boss themes were really cool, and I thought it was really neato how they let you play as Joey, the best character. Yugi's Boss theme Kaiba's Boss theme Joey's Boss theme
Those boss themes all came from the Duelists of the Roses game, which is another really amazing game nobody played, but I didn't want to bog down everyone with two YGO games at once (and Falsebound Kingdom is the better of the two).
Joey's boss theme is just a normal battle theme from DotR, but it was the best song in that game so I was glad they included it.
